| Will Smith: Photos |

We're so excited about the "Moving Image Salute to Will Smith" (on Bravo tonight!) that we put together a slideshow to celebrate. Above is Will with his mom Caroline at the ceremony -- how adorably proud is she? Below are our favorite moments from Mr. Smith's greatest perfromances spanning 15 years of TV and moviemaking. To see a preview clip of the show, visit here. Gentle warning, Mrs. Will Smith (aka Jada Pinkett) will break your heart.

My children got me to listen to Will music when he had his first record out. They knew I did'n like rap, but my daughter said Mama you will like him. And she was so right. Today I will watch anything that he is on. When I see him , he will autograph my books about him. I have to agree with his sister, that part on the Fresh Prince was also my favorite. Will is lucky I am not a stalker, because I would be his neighbor, if I had the money.
I'm watching the tribute right now and now "I'm in love with Will" Laticia
Great job!! But where was Martin Lawrence and Regina King????
Where is Bad Boys 1 and 2?
I missed the tribute and want to know if they will be shoing it again or how to get a video of the entire show.
You are an amazing person, and i am extremely impressed with your perseverence in the business and your abiility to hold true to reality. reality being - being a real person. a man, a husband, a father. thank you for providing that type of role model. there is no one like you out there now, and i can only hope that people will see you and aspire to personify you later in their lives!!!
thank you!
Will you and jada speech was heart breaking. Keep each other first in heart and prayer and your family will stay together with god blessing always.
I don't want to start drama by my speculation but.. I watched the second showing to see when Jada Pinkett-Smith did her bit. She said something to the effect, " I sat while friends and co-workers came on to my man...." was this a joke that didn't come off funny or was she bothered by some of the comments made? Don't get me wrong I agree with everything everyone said about him but I thought comments like "I love you" (after she made it known that they worked on one film together-probably not "friends") was rather extreme for me.
Will Smith is such a sweet guy. He's a great role model for all guys especially black fathers and husbands. Way to go Will, you deserve the accolades you've received.
Will Smith; what can I say. You have thought us all so much through your music and your movies. You are an inspiration to all the young men in this world. My son loves your movies and your song "Just the two of us" is the song I dedicated to my son. The funny part is my fiance and him both have big ears so that song is perfect. But I want to congratulate you on all of your accomplishments. I feel yu deserve everything you have. You and Jada our the only hollywood couple I look up to because your love for each other and your kids are awesome and you two are not affraid to show the world and I love you both for that. Jada is my favorite actress and it was just perfect when you two started your journey of life together. Much love to you and your family.
Did I miss Jazz or did Jazz miss the tribute? And if Jazz missed the tribute....why?
I find Will Smith to be an all-around good hearted man. Basically someone you'd really want to be personal friends with. He has a sense of humor, & just friendly all around. Just like Dana Owens (Queen Latifah) said, "you deserve every movie you've done, & just everything you've ever done period". "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" was a really cool show, & even though I dont watch it regularly, & i do watch it when I catch it on tv. He has a unique brand of talents. Comedically, he's done really well for himself with films like "Men in Black", etc. Also, not only that, he can be dramatic as well, who would've thought. Who would've a good too-shoes rapper from Phladelphia, could be able to deliver more skill as an actor than just comedy. The only dramatic role of his that I've seen so far is "The Legend of Baggar Vance", & I've yet to see both "Ali", & reallly want to see "The Pursuit of Happyness", but he's got a wonderful range. I'm sure you'll agree when I say that I feel really sorry for him not winning the Oscar for "Ali" in 2001 or whenever it was. It's great that he got nominated & stuff, & he surely deserved it judging only by clips of the film & what you would see in the trailer for it. I just acknowledge Will Smith to the fulllest, & think that he's wonderful in all aspects of the entertainment industry.
The show will be on again Thrusday jan 18 at 730pm on Bravo.
Oh my goodness! It just has to be every woman's dream to have a man so obviously, openly and affectionately express how much he loves his wife and family. I love how he brought Jada to tears at the end. I've respected will as an artist as far back as I can remember (when we were both kids) and now, I agree with the other poster before me who said that he is truly the only "real" Hollywood couple. You can see the pride and love Jada and Will have for one another and their family demonstrated in everything they say and do. I remember when I was younger how rap "artists" would crack on him all the time, saying he was selling out and putting him down for his cross-over appeal. I made a mix cd last year that's still in my car and I still bounce to Miami on a regular basis (and I'll be 39 years old in two weeks).
I wish them both a lifetime of love and success. Grown men and women both could take lessons from the humble yet proud man we have here. He's more powerful than we yet realize. With the grace and intelligence he displays, we have so much to see and hear.
Lastly, a note to fathers - you can raise a Will Smith, too. Love your sons. Really love and nurture your sons and daughters. We need more of these men in all our lives. As lovers, businessmen, fathers, sons, teachers, leaders, pastors and storekeepers. We need men to pattern their lives in a lovely way.
Cordially,
5FF

I watched the event last night and I'm glad he was honored the way he was because he deserves it. From music to acting I've enjoyed everything he has done, well, except for the Wild Wild West...
Did anyone notice that they weren't wearing their wedding rings?
