| Hepburn's Dress Sold |

Audrey Hepburn’s dress from the iconic cult film Breakfast at Tiffany's was auctioned off at Christie’s on Wednesday for almost $200,000!
Zoinks! That's one hell of a lot of money for a dress we doubt the purchaser will be able to wear.
According to the AP, the price for the little pink, sleeveless cocktail number was more than six times what the auctioneers expected, which almost always happens, haven’t you noticed?
Hepburn's character Holly Golightly wears the dress during a scene in the film when she learns that her brother has died.
The actual winning bid for the dress was $192,000 -- which is about the price of a medium-sized one-bedroom apartment in Jackson Heights, NY (in case you were looking).
Oddly enough the dress beat out some other pretty cool stuff that was also being auctioned that day, including Marilyn Monroe's script for Something's Got to Give with handwritten notes and a program for JFK's birthday celebration at Madison Square Garden -- which seems rather high-priced to us since weren't there, like, thousands of people there?
