We’re no strangers to internet distractions around here. And while we’re getting a little tired of the up-to-the-minute news on you-know-who’s incarceration, we still manage to find things to keep us entertained that don’t involve, you know… prison.
Enter funnyordie.com, one of the best comedy sites around. Just yesterday, a new clip popped up, and had us choking on our lattes.
Judd Apatow, comic genius behind “40 Year Old Virgin” and is seen arguing with James Franco, co-star of “Spiderman”, on the set of “Knocked Up”. As the two of them get into it—with Katherine Heigl and Kristen Wiig looking on in horror—Franco inexplicably takes the conversation to one of the greatest television shows never to reach 13 episodes, “Freaks and Geeks”, which Apatow and Franco worked on together.
This comes after another brilliant clip from the set of “Knocked Up”, in which Michael Cena is tragically fired from the leading role after he and Apatow angrily debate the quality of Cena’s performance.
These “behind the scenes” clips seem to spoof the notorious footage of Lily Tomlin and David O. Russell screaming at each other on the set of “I Heart Huckabees”. That leaked clip shot across the internet like wildfire, and Apatow seems to be following the trend. But, of course, he’s kidding. Right?
