Jenni, (one of Bravo's summer interns) dropped this by Dish HQ the other day, just in time for the premiere of "Welcome to the Parker." We loved it so much, we decided to go ahead and make a gallery out of it. Jenni's reasoning was that while everyone loves to stay at hotels -- not every hotel loves their guests. Whether they are in the movies or on the TV, everyone joins the hotel staff in wishing that they would just check out. Here is a list of the worst hotel guests all the way from the utterly awkward to the completely destructive.

I love it. Not I laughed aloud and caused other people in Starbucks to stare at me. Though most of us do not have experience with such extreme guests -- who have not encountered a dad that thinks he is Tobias while on vacation with his adolescent children. Hotels are often an overlooked element in satire; this was creative and original to say the least.

Are you kidding. I am a Certified Special Event Professional and your man "Michale" handling the special guest should be at a Marriot or Motel 6. The man does not have a clue from day one. He is on probation? Get real. Too many great people out there to train an incompettent person. What are you thinking? He is a 1/2 star in a potential 5 star hotel.

I love this show. I worked at this property (briefly) while it was The Givency, many moons ago.
How did this propety get FIVE Stars ? and from whom ? Mobil ? They barely rate THREE Stars on a good day. Anything is possible, is their motto. And that's a nice Mission Statement. But 24 hour room service is one thing, getting an 85 + per cent score on the Mobil Rating Service is another.

That women Peggy from the dessert cancer was the worst. The event guy did mess up but how she treated people was worse!! Hope she is so embarrassed & I never treat people like that!! Don’t care what kind of money she might raises.

Peggy from the Cancer Society... nice move parking in the handicapped space out back. "I won't get towed will I?" If I was there, you bet! People like cancer survivors or those dealing with the disease might ned to get to the gala. But hey, it was important that YOU weren't put out Peggy. I hope your Board kicks you to the curb and quick. And, although Mike is a nice guy (I guess) I agree with the event planner above. He would have been fired a LONG time ago. I've done events for 1,000 people, covered by Time magazine, and done almost all the set up myself..alone. He can't even get out of bad. Sweetie, go do something that you can do well. Just not this. Geesh!

After watching Michael Toomey single handedly destroy the reputation of The Parker I kept asking myself --- Why doesn't someone fire this guy or move him to another position where he: (a) doesn't have to show up on time or even bother to show up at all. (b) doesn't have to remember ANYTHING - such as the requests that the paying guests and clients made (c) only has to smile, get all sweaty and apologize --- I mean, I understand why people like him. He is a very sweet guy but he is not cut out for the detail oriented work that being an event planner entails. I have been on both ends of the situation - working in an upscale property and staying in them - Doing Michael's job, in a place like The Parker, is a skill that takes some talent to hone but Honey, it ain't brain surgery. I loved the show and the cast - I could have done without the shallow little girls who decided that the girl in the spa needed "their" help. I wanted them to shut the f up and go find a new hobby. I have to say - The Parker has a few tricks to learn to rate the 5 stars but I would bring my family and stay there just for the "show."

Sure Miss the Show....Hope It will return. Just love to see the "behind the scenes" of any hotel. Seems that the Parker has alot of staff to get the job done right, not like what I am up against "one guy doing five jobs>not for the pay of five ; only one meger salary below the poverty scale. Hope the staff appreciates the
salary this venure MUST offer. Please bring the show back for another season! I enjoy the antics of the guest too! Seems as those they do not change; no matter where they make their reservations; Uptown or slumming :).

  1. Keep it clean. You're a Bravo fan, you know better words than most TV audiences.
  2. Avoid using ALL CAPS! (It’s like screaming...)
  3. We don't post e-mail addresses or phone numbers.
  4. Have a good time. We love that you love the blogs.
