| Top Chef Finale Close! |

Like you, we here at Bravo could not be more excited for the first part of the Top Chef: Miami finale to air tomorrow night! We all love Top Chef, but some of us are, um, nuts about it and have been faithful fans since before we even started working here. So, change plans, do what you have to do, because it's finally here! Tune in to the first part of this season's finale Wednesday night at 10/9c.
Then tune in after the show to watch the eliminated chefs sit down with Andy Cohen on The After Show only at Bravotv.com.
And check back every day until the second part of the finale for exclusive videos from Aspen and casting tapes. Watch our personal favorite here.

I really like Tim Gunn's new show "Guide to Style". The transformations of his clients are really amazing! A later followup would be interesting. More new shows, please. Thanks alot!!!
I have been watching this show since the very first episode of the first season. I was immediately interested because I love to cook and this show was about great chefs showcasing their talents for the prize of top chef. However, I have been growing less and less interested in this show because the focus has been sliding away from the food and to a game show. It is clear the judges have been told to ramp up the drama. For three or four weeks the “worst dish ever” has been presented and at one point even Tom corrected Gail on her over the top drama. We hear the judges say “at this level all the dishes are great and we have to look for small details” and then turn around and say “this is the worst dish in three years of his show. Unfortunately this is not the only example of wishy washy flip-floping we have seen from the judges. One minute you should not have served this horrible item, the next someone gets crucified for not putting out a dish. Dave got eliminated in season one for leaving a plate off an order but Dale ends up in the top three. One minute Tom says he doesn’t care what happens in the kitchen (behind the scenes) and the next minute he does. I could go on and on.
It is clear the last few episodes of season two were a tragedy. Cliff should have been sent home however everything that followed was a complete disaster. First you eliminated Sam because he did not use heat to develop his flavors as opposed to what he chose to do. Basically, for no good reason. Then you let the saffron monkey talk you into rewarding him Top Chef with that BS about “I have shown my ability to cook something other than Spanish food.” You bought that line, really?
Where is the integrity? This show has integrity flaws in the judging and competition and it is too bad the focus has been placed on that more because it improves ratings. We already have Survivor; I want the show about food and cooking that I fell in love with. I am sure that will not happen though, because money makes the world go around and Survivor like drama brings in the ratings. Tom, if you created this show to showcase talented chefs and celebrate food you are failing. I vote to send you home Tom because you are the head judge and you are the one who let this show sink to what it is. I can only imagine your kitchen is probably run just as badly. So, Tom, please pack your knives and go.
I love this show, I somtimes wake up thinking about it, now that's nuts .
I'm 50 years old ,father of four and I always cooked for my kids, my main goal was to have them enjoy there dinner .My father ,God rest his soul, taught me the joy of cooking at a youn age helping him cook Sunday dinner,I loved it.My youngest son is a chef (Cordon Blue) I'm so proud. To this day he still ask's me for idea's,I'm a hell of a cook myself too!.
Thank You for letting me voice my words.
I have become a bravo fan .Go Brian
I'd like to say as a chef my self,I love this program it defines a kitchen in its best and worst of situations.I always feel a sence of comppetion during a dinner rush when you get in the weeds, everyone scrambling to get thier part of the dish completed, working as a team to get the service completed.top chef defines all that is good in our industry, its a good look into our real lives if you are in this profesion.I hope to see many more seasons to come.chef tom is sure to get a top selling book out of this experience.keep up the good work fellas.
I love Top Chef!! I watch it faithfully - reruns and all. It is great to see some of what happens in a restaurant kitchen. It is unfortunate, though, that some of the chefs that have been eliminated should have made it to the finals, but what can you do? There will always be something that someone disagrees with. I look forward to the next season.
I have watched each season of Top Chef, and I must say it is getting better and better.
I love the drama, the cheftestants, the judges, the food, although some of it may be a little strange for my southern palate.
This is the first season that one of the final 5 or 6 chefs did not really rub me the wrong way, I love all of them, especially Casey, "Go Girl"
Tom and Padma, you guys do an exceptional job. I would love to just "shadow" you for one episode and see what it takes to get one show on the air.
Keep up the good work.
Good luck to all the chefs,
"GO CASEY"
My fellow disgruntled fan, it is true that the show is evolving more into a game show, because.....wait for it.....it IS a game show. It just happens to star "chefs" (losely used here; see Clay. My god I could have been a contestant if it were based on real talent and credentials, did you see his amuse bouche?). And ya can't just tell Tom to "please pack his knives and go;" he's the hottest thing about the show. Not wanting a dialogue, just to respond in defense of one of my favorite shows. By the way, what exactly are Padma's credentials?

If Hung wins then I will know that they are judged for making good TV & not because they exhibit the characteristics of a Top Chef. The guy lies, He would throw his own Mother under the bus if it let him stay for one more competition. Time & time again he has proven that he is not interested in being a team player & his character sucks ! The episode when he dropped the crayfish on the floor & walked away with that attitude said it all for me !
I'm bit behind on the blogs, but I recall reading the ones from last year about my boy Sam (the ladies man) who got all the attention. I truely believe he got shafted. The dissappointing and distraught look on Padma's face when she said 'Sam, please pack your knives and go', was absolutely priceless. Padma, you were thinking the same thing i was thinking. Anywho, back to this year. Since all the girls were mentioning how Sam was their eye candy from last year, I have to say that Casey is my eye candy for this year. She's an absolute doll, with a georgous smile and love your slight dimples. Oh plus, she can cook! Thats a bonus for me!!!!!!!!!!! Can't beat a good looking gal who can cook too! Casey, will be my personal chef? :)
I'm so excited for the finale!!! I'm so happy to see Hung, Dale and Casey in the last three!!! Its going to be a tough one for the judges this year. I'm a big fan of the show so please keep it coming next season!!!
I'm a big fan of Top Chef. I've seen every episode and most of them more than once. Dale is my favorite chef this season. He may not win but he should have his own show. He's charming as well as a talented cook. I'm glad to see him finally win a round. They are all obviously great chefs but Hung needs to lose the attitude. Casey is great and I think she could win. But, I can't get enough of Dale.
I found it interesting that Hung in this last epeisode was pouring on the family history- maybe that was all stated earlier and withheld by editing on purpose but the producers have certainly portrayed him as a cold, calculating guy who had all the training of a full professional chef, certainly not a unnaturalized citizen. I think he had plenty of opportunity to influence his dishes with his "heart" - remember the boat cocktail party? Aisian influence would have been welcome there-
Is there going to be a recipe collection book for all three seasons? I am hooked...and watch it like visual comfort food. Thanks for bringing such fun back into the kitchen!
I am a big fan of Top Chef and Project Runway. I love watching these shows - even the reruns. I especially like this Top Chef: Miami batch because they respect one another. In the previous batches, my sympathy went to Tiffany and Marcel. But I don't have any specific favorites this year. I think all of them are great!
I'm so excited about the finale next week. I love the top 3 & would be happy with any of them winning. Hung was my fave from the very beginning but Casey & Dale (& Tre!) really grew on me. I don't understand all of the hatred towards Hung. When it's a team competition, he goes out of his way to help. Sara said it herself before she left. I don't expect him (or anyone else) to be helpful in the other challenges. I wouldn't- it's a competition. I just love Hung, I think he's pretty hott too.
I am so mad that Hung won. What a joke! No one in reality tv has EVER EVER annoyed me more than he has. He was constantly playing the pity card and messing things up for other contestants (spilling ingredients, never helping anyone else but expecting them to help him at times, not speaking up and saying something was wrong to his team until they were at the judges table). All in all-- cowardly and pretty much what most people would define as a "cheater". We all had to laugh at how much he implemented "love and soul" into his speeches after the judges told him he did not ever show any!!! Hung really does comes across as one of those snakely beings who will do anything it takes to kiss-up and make it to the top all the while displaying the true qualities of a cheater. The national poll really did reflect our opinions of him. By the end of the Finale, he had a measely 18% vote by the people to be the winner. Such small number really goes to support his claim of "the people are behind me..." Hmmm, howso?!?!
