I have been a great admirer of Rachel Zoe's work for sometime. I had the wonderful opportunity to meet her at her book signing at The Grove in Los Angeles. She was cool, elegant, charming and above all NICE. I saw the preview of her new show tonight and cannot wait to see more! Its bananas! oh my god watch racheal zoe new show loved it. I am into fashion and she had some great lines one was about her addiction to fashion that is so me. and when she said some people collect art she collects clothes I was laughing my ass off cause I dont wear all the things I buy but that is what I will tell all my freinds who think I have a problem! I was quite entertained by the preview episode for the Rachel Zoe Project. I think Rachel is charming! Her assistant Taylor seems like a nasty witch though. Yikes. I would love to see her get the boot by the end of the season. I think Rachel needs more positivity and that seems like something Taylor is not able to offer.

I love this show. I like what she does for LA fashion and the sprit of glamor. Dont sleep on her. Can wait for Sept

Bravo is getting desperate for shows!!!! Why would you allow someone who obviously has no compassion for aniamls have her own show? She has admitted how much she loves fur!!! If you think for one second this show is going to attract any viewers who love animals, you are sadly mistaken. She sounds like the idiot she is by saying such a thing. The show would be great if someone would come on there, tie her in a chair and make her watch how fur is made and how much torture these creatures go thru. You have lost my viewing, that's for sure. Watching Rachel Zoe Project on BravoTV -- I am horrified to see Racel Zoe wearing furs - - REAL furs.I am horrified! Doesn't she realze the torture that is inflicted upon those animals?!?!?

I hope we are living in a time when we realize that compassion and kindness are becoming our guides.

I really enjoy this episodes so far. Being in the Fashion Industry myself it is enjoyable to watch Rachel grow. I love her drive and passion. I think everyone is going to see how hard working and persistant you have to be to make it!! Great Job Rachel :)

Ugh. Really? She's so insincere and kind of a bore. Taylor, though, steals the show as the least interesting and most predictable biotch. Gross. I'm not sure she can spell jealousy...but she's green with it.

Saw the Rachel Zoe show for the first time.
Appreciated her comments and concerns regarding treating the dresses with care and respect, so why then is the carpet in the studio stained and dirty?

Zoe is tolerable, but that person Taylor is HORRIBLE. When something bad befalls her (and life happens, so it will) she will wonder why no friend is around to help. I can no longer watch because I think she is such a bad human being. Even her speech patterns are annoying. She needs a piece of humble pie, asap.

Rachel Zoe is so talented. I'm enjoying her but am horrified by all the furs she's wearing. In the episode I just watched, she wore a different fur in almost every scene. She's inventive, creative, clever. Surely Rachel, of all people, could incorporate gorgeous faux fur. The shock of seeing all this real fur has kept me from enjoying tonight's show.

Rachel - I like your show, you seem like a nice person and I love your style and taste in clothes, but I'm very disappointed that you are always wearing fur. I challenge you to look at videos of animals being tortured and killed for their fur on PETA's website, and then tell me there is some justification for wearing fur. That is pure ugliness, which is not what fashion and style is really supposed to be about, is it?

Rachel Zoe is anything BUT fabulous, looking like some bedraggled cave woman in all that fur. Fashion that depends on the abuse of animals isn't cool or beautiful in the least.

Rachel Zoe makes me absolutely sick! For a woman with so much fashion experience, she must know that horror that goes into each fur coat that she is wearing. I just finished watching the show tonight and she spent 80% of the show wearing fur. How can Bravo put this on the air and be proud of it? How can Rachel claim to be an expert of fashion yet be such a heartless, uncompassionate person? I just can't watch this show anymore. I can't see another show where hundreds of animals had to give their lives (many which have been skinned alive) for her sick sense of fashion.

The show is entertaining however I'm disgusted by how many furs I see her in. She is worried that she can't wear her fur in NYC because it's raining?!? In that case she should leave it on the animals instead of slaughtering them for her own design shortcomings. The karma from the loss and torture is on her back. I'll keep an eye to see if there's a shift in her "fur episodes" and if not I'll move on to another shows...there's plenty out there.

Rachel, I am sad for you. I live in LA and NYC and am an art dealer. I work with many of your clients. That you still wear and promote fur tells us all who you are: a vapid, desperate woman who hasn't learned where true beauty comes from. You have the opportunity to create love in the world through your talent and styling, but instead you are promoting hurt and harm. Please educate yourself and watch some fur farm footage of animals being electrocuted in the rectum and ask yourself: Is this beautiful? Is this pain who you want to be and promote? People attack you because you have an ugly soul. You can be different. Search yourself Rachel. You will lose nothing but gain our respect and learn what love and kindness look like. They look TRULY beautiful. You cannot fake it. People see through you now. Please search yourself.

I was a fan of the show because i thought rachel was a really nice person until i saw the episode with her wearing the fur.also didn't like the designer who did the runway show with all the fur.fashion shouldn't have to be wearing a dead animal on your back. there are so many beatiful coats out there not made of fur. And people should lay off taylor just because she is organized and expects a lot, because rachel does to and nobody is jumping on her. instead of rallying behind brad because he talks sweet and is quiet, think about all of the extra work taylor has to do because of other people's lack of hard work. because of the fur i will no longer watch and i think others should do the same.

I love the Rachel Zoe show, but am having a hard time with the fur issue also. Rachel, if you will go to a fur farm and watch how the animals live and then watch them being killed, just once, and still decide to wear and promote furs, I will accept your decision without criticism. You must, though, first educate yourself so you can make an informed decision. To ignore what really happens in the fur market is irresponsible and ignorant, you must be thoroughly informed to make that kind of decision. Style doesn't have to be about furs, it can be about 99% of the other items people wear to be fashionable. So please, visit a farm and then let us all know if you can still promote fur.

Holy hell...this is a show? This provides no value to society. I guess for that reason I should applaud Rachel for creating income out of nothing. Even her husband belittles her source of revenue. Taylor might be the biggest bitch in the history of reality tv and the question remains: why? She is nothing. She has accomplished nothing in her life aside from being a horrible person. I hope she wants to remain Rachel's right-hand nobody, because I can't imagine anyone who has seen or heard of this show would want to hire that kind, of thing. Plus, if Taylor wants to belittle Brad and everyone else on the show, then wouldn't it be wise of her not to look like the poster child of the "walk of shame?"

Oh, forgot to mention I looooove fur. I think its great. It has kept people warm for centuries. I love being on top of the food chain and to be able to wear warm endangered animal fur.

I watched my 3rd episode of Rachel Zoe. I like the fashion aspect and I like her passion for what she does. I find can't get past the fur she wears and promotes. I think a lot of people agree to breed animals for No other purpose but to skin them for their fur is cruel.

Rachel has a lot of talent and fashion sense; however, I lost o certain amount of respect for her when I saw how much faith she puts into someone as disrepectful, condescending, and negative as her assistant, Taylor. It's too bad that Taylor's type of work ethic that finds it acceptable to be patronizing and uncooperative is promoted in this series. No matter how hard Taylor works, this does not excuse her attitude.

I love fashion but there is quite a bit of difference between taking pride in your appearance, loving fashion and being so utterly self-absorbed! I get that Zoe is a stylist (sounds like a made-up, fakey, fakey job to me) and that she serves celebrities (I guess we're all supposed to be sooo impressed) but give it a rest. This show actually engages my gag reflex! The endless name dropping, the overly processed hair & makeup and let's not forget the constant hamming for the camera..."Oh we think our lives are sooo glamorous." I can see that the dumbing down of America continues!! Yuck!

I so looked forward to The Rachel Zoe Project, but I must say I am disappointed. I liked Rachel Zoe's work and admired her sucess but getting such a personal look has chanfged my mind.
She is a self-absorbed,self-important brat! It seems that it must be her way or no way at all. She is fortunate to have a wonderful husband and he is so supportive of her. In return, I think he gets little. I just finshed watching tonight's episode (10/07/08) and was appalled! First, it was her plans for their 10th anniversary, amde without any consultation with Roger.When she revealed her plans for the party, she was upset that he preferred to spend some precious alone time away with her. Does she not realize how lucky she is to have man willing to paly second to her career. I don;t even know why she wanted him in N.Y. for fashion week. She blew him off the whole time.
When her uncle died and her father came to dinner, it was the one time that Roger had to put himself first and she acted liek the ptulant child she has shown herself to be. I can't believe her's stayed this long and I don't think she understands how lucky she is on so many levels.
So...the message is that I'm sorry that I started watching th Rachel Zoe Project. All I learned was that she is a good stylist but not a very nice person. Bravo: In running the Rachel Zoe project, you are condoning the cruelty of animals. But right in the midst of all the fur she wears with almost every outfit, you run an ASPCA ad about helping to stop the cruelty and neglect of animals. I hope that Rachael at least glances at the blogs because this one is for her. I am not into fashion but I believe that I have watched the show because of the eternal struggle some working woman have between their careers and their spouses/children. Rachael, it is obvious that you have big dreams. But it is also obvious, particularly after the 10/7/08 episode, that you are not happy. Unfortunately, it has been my experience that people cannot have it all-not at the same time. You have a wonderful husband. If you truly want your marriage to continue to succeed and you want a baby, now is the time to do it before you launch your own line. You constantly state how you always pick your work over your personal life-where has it gotten you? You aren't happy. I am sorry that your uncle Jerry passed away. But I think you briefly realized that ultimately family is what is more important. There will always be time for your work dreams. You won't always be able to have a child and dedicate the time needed to that child, and if you don't begin to choose Rodger, he will stop choosing you before work. Then all that is truly important in the end will be lost.

Thought I would give this show a try, as I love Fashion, but after seeing one episode, I will NEVER EVER watch again. I was repulsed by all of the fur that she wears, and she thinks she's a fashion expert HA!! So funny...she makes me want to Puke!! People actually pay this woman to style them... what a Joke!!! Shame on Oscar DeLaRenta as well for showing fur in his runway show. Absolutely no compassion for living breathing creatures whatsoever. This show is an insult to the struggling working class in this country. We are barely managing to buy groceries and fill our tanks and those at the Zoe Camp are worried about how a celebrity looks at yet another self-congratulatory awards show! Many who have contributed to this blog have gone on & on about the evils of wearing fur and I admire this worthy cause. But let's look at the bigger picture...the working class is constantly having their noses rubbed in the absurd wealth of celebrities, politicians and over-paid CEOs! These are the stirrings of a revolution. The heads of the wealthy should roll and blood should be spilled all over their Prada loafers! The working class HAS HAD ENOUGH!!!!!

I don't own fur, but you guys are making me feel bad about eating meat and wearing fur. Anyway, Rachael, there is nothing wrong with faux fur. It's not something that just middle-class people wear. Vegans wear it too. Also on the Brad vs. Taylor issue, I'm on Taylor's side 100%. Brad is hilarious, but you have to remember when those dresses were wet, instead of getting everything out immediately he was panicking.
