OK, Top Chef fans. We can finally tell you .... Top Chef: Chicago premieres MARCH 12TH! 16 new chefs will take their skills to "The Windy City" to compete for $100,000 in seed money to help open a restaurant, furnished by the makers of the Glad family of products, a feature in Food & Wine magazine, a showcase at the Annual Food & Wine Classic in Aspen, a gourmet dream vacation in the French Alps, and will earn the title of "Top Chef."
Your favorites -- Padma, Tom, Gail, and Ted -- all return to the Judges' Table. And, of course, a host of amazing guest judges.
Let the flames begin!

I honestly like the show...but the level of talent I have to question, the fact that some of the contestants are Executive Chefs is a true insight into whats wrong with the industry as a whole, most of the "Chefs" cant even complete the most simple tasks and last season having two larger guys and wondering why they couldn't keep up and the fact they were sweating all over the place was rude...I would fire a member of staff who dripped sweat none stop into food. There is a great deal of real talent out there lets see more than 3 people who know what their doing in the future. Anyone can read a cook book and copy guys and 99% of culinary school grads are awful....put some hardcore fine dinning line cooks on and they will blow these "Chefs" out of the water.

Welcome to Chi-town! You've got quite the following here--I can't wait to see who's on and what's on the stove! If you ever need guest judges, I know of a few new, very hungry internal medicine doctors at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and one famished reporter at the Chicago Tribune who would be more than willing to fit some delicious, innovative cuisine into their 80-hour work week. We're starved for that Chicago flavor. Regardless, we'll be fitting your delicious endeavors into our week. Keep mincing, chopping, dreaming and creating!

March 12th, such a long time.... :-(
Oh well! I have marked the calender.
I have checked out the bio's and they all seem very well educated &/or experienced.
I know the judges get frustrated with the lack of imagination at times; so.....
Let's get a few "hard core" guest judges this time around. Ones that expect imagination, thinking out of the box and awesome results. Ones, that with the regular judges, will keep them on their toes.
