| Bynes Be Kind Rewind Drama |
Could Be Kind Rewind director Michel Gondry be an avid Nickelodeon watcher perhaps? The interwebs are a-buzzin' this morning with this video compilation of sketches from The Amanda Show, in which Amanda Bynes and her video store co-workers (gasp!) re-create popular movies on their own, rent them out to customers who, of course, think they're renting the real movie and who then come back with loads of complaints -- with hilarious results.
I can't really imagine Michel Gondry spending his Saturday mornings watching Amanda Show reruns, but these sketches do look to be pretty much the exact same gag as the one in Be Kind Rewind. It's most likely a coincidence, but definitely a weird one!
