I've never been shy about revealing my penchant for awesomely, er, bad food. So I was pretty bummed to get an e-mail from my brother yesterday (a former Bennigan's employee), that most of the franchise's restaurants had filed for bankruptcy. OK -- maybe I haven't eaten there since my brother actually worked there, which was about 10 years ago at this point, but my sister and I STILL talk about their chocolate birthday cakes! They. Were. Delicious.
