Daniel and Wesley: After the Sew

20080820_daniel_320x240.jpg

On last night's Watch What Happens: After the Sew, real-life couple Daniel Feld and Wesley Nault joined drag legend Lady Bunny and host Andy Cohen to talk Runway and romance! And we kinda gotta say, they may be the cutest couple we've ever seen.

Watch it HERE.

This is my first time commenting on this blog. I have to say I'm so disappointed that Terri didn't win tonight. I find it just as likely that you'd find Joe's dress in a costume shop as it is that you'd find Jerell's. I mean it was niced, but I don't think there was any WOW factor. Korto's dress was better than Joe's and Terri's creation was nothing less than AMAZING.

Thank you Bravo for adding the drag queen to that behind the sew episode! It reminded me of the Geico commercial with Joan Rivers. Where Daniel and Wesley have a boring story void of any personality and they need a blonde babe to make it watchable!

There is soooo much talent on season 5. Some times as a regular person I do not agree with the judges. I thought either Terri or Korto would have won the drag queen challenge, and I feel that Daniel should have been gone along time ago! I hope little tan boy is next!

I missed the last minutes of Project Runway last night and just discovered that Terri didn't win from the blog that was posted. I was so disappointed. I thought her outfit had such a WOW! factor, color, over the top, all of that!! Booo to the judges. I think you all missed the mark on that one.

I have been waiting for this episode to happen since the beginning of the series! Drag queens are some of the most creative people out there, not to mention the most headstrong. I gotta say that Terri's creation was AMAZING as was Joe's but what really did it was Varla Jean being a sensational personality - that is where Joe got lucky. And Keith is still smokin' hot even though his outfit sucked.

Ok, so I have to disagree with Tina. This group lacks design skills, fits and finishes. I feel like I'm watching season one again! There are a few glimmers of hope with Terri and Kato's orginality. And Joe (why the heck did he win last night?!) does have tailoring down better than the other designers, but his designs lack originality and feel like commercialized garments circa 2002. This season perfectly prefaces the next which is said to take place in LA instead of NY and will surely disappoint.

Thought Daniel did better than Blayne. ANd what a cute couple!

Terri was lucky not to be in the bottom. I hated her pieces. It was all over the place and she made yet another ill fitting corset that doesn't get dinged by the judges. Joe deserved the win. The top three should have been Joe, Korto, and Leanne I think.

It's really sorrow for Keith not only because of his roomate's leaving but also the garment.
Although Daniel has been out ,which I have predicted in episode 3,you Keith should learn what you need to present as a desinger, especially an abstract one!
Wish you luck in the next round,my dear bear Keith!~

I wanted to tell Daniel Feld that his spanish dancer dress was by far the classiest, most beautiful of that challenge and he should have won. I wouldn't be caught dead in any of those other outfits, although some were well sewn. Clothes should be beautiful and flatering whether they are being worn by a man or a woman. I can't believe that mummy/toiletpaper dress was considered more beautiful. Obviously your tastes are much too good for this show! Bravo to you Daniel and shame on the judges. Keep on sewing.

I really liked Daniel. His style was sophisticated and elegant. However it seems that is not what the judges were looking for.Jillian had similar taste and she didn't win either. It is very sad that Blaine continues to be safe every week, because the producers seem to think his personality is what people want to see on the show. Not true!!He in no way has the likeability of say Christian from last season. At least Christian had actual talent.Boo Bravo for awarding drama over talent!! Sadly I'm almost over this show....

Teri: the dresses were for DRAG QUEENS, not men who wanted to dress like women. It's not about class, it's about sass, and Daniel's dress didn't have it. It was definitely his time (and who wasn't sick of him saying he had impeccable taste already?).

BTW, does anyone on here have spell check?

I thought that Korto should have won the drag queen challenge but I so enjoyed watching Joe's drag queen in her outfit. She was just so bubbly and cute.

I thought it was great to see RuPaul. You almost never see her out and about anymore.

I so agree with the person who wrote that Daniel needed to go home awhile ago. They should never have sent Kelli home but Daniel should have gone then. Now they need to get rid of "licious" and "scrappy".

I think Keith needs to stop making the same design each week. Stop with the pieces already. His dress for Lipstick Jungle was pretty, but its time to try something new.

Daniel is cute and all, but he is too whiney for me... too many excuses. I think he maybe could have had a chance if he would have just clammed up and let the judges have their say.
Speaking of that it reminds me of Santino. I really think he could have won if he hadn't cursed at fashion week in front of everyone. Heidi has said that the winner has to be presentable as well as talented.

I was glad to see Daniel go...too much whine factor. I don't agree that Terri should have won...What was that? A cross between a Geisha and Ziggy Stardust? Scary!! Joe was so -so....guess I'm not a great judge of Drag Queens! Now to be rid of Blayne, Stella & Keith! all one trick ponies!

I thought that Kenley's laughter directed at Daniel on the runway in the show before this last one was completely inappropriate. She laughed when Daniel mentioned that he is an upscale fashion designer or a designer of haute couture. At a time when Daniel was being grilled by the judges, I felt Kenley's laughter at him was very unkind. Especially since the two of them were shown as being rather close and friendly before. With friends like that, you don't need enemies.

The saturn challenge was the best challenge yet. The designers have really thought out and used their creativity. I'm very impressed with Korto's coat. That was impeccable. Jeryll dress was creative and smart and Leanne's dress was beautiful. On the flip side, Blaine, Stella and Keith dress made no sense. There were no creativity, innovation and flavor. All and all, the judges decision to send Keith home was fair. His dress didn't stand out. Very disappointed.

I believe the judges are looking for cutting edge fashion that meets the criteria of the challenges. Elegant sophistication is not always what they are looking for.
I would like to see more design process and technique discussion.
