Project Runway Fan Fav

20080918_vote_320x240.jpg

Have you voted for your favorite Project Runway designer yet?

No?

Maybe while you were navigating the Internets you got lost in cyber space and didn’t know where to vote. No worries, I have the linkage right here:
http://www.bravotv.com/Project_Runway/season/5/vote/index.php

More good news: If you vote, you’re automatically in the running to win a $10,000 shopping spree. I’m not allowed to win because I work here (See: Unfair Rules). But I figured I would let you know about the spree, and then if you won, maybe you could buy me a nice sweater.

Also, and I’m not supposed to tell you this, but I figure since we’re such good friends and all…well, the race for fan fav is really close. We’re talkin’ Bush/Gore close. LLo/Sam close. Tighter than skinny jeans. So if you thought your favorite was winning by a landslide, well, he’s not. Or she’s not. It’s fun being cryptic.

Vote now!

This public service announcement has been brought to you by Gretchen Hansen.

    Hello everyone.

I been washing proyect runway sinces the first season but yesterday i was so desapointed with the judges for leting Joe go.

It was unfair because Chris design was worst design i ever see.
If Coco Chanel was alive she will die again...
Fashion is every where, like she used to say...But not in Chris creation.

i cannot believe joe got voted off
instead of SUEDE. Sometimes I wonder how
fair are these judges, it seems like its all about ratings and no honesty. Totally turned off by the whole show.

I think Kotol gets overlooked for project winner way too many times her garments are always flawless, inventive and beautiful.

I think Stella wasted everyone's time. She was not willing to do any of the challenges because she refused to step out of her "Rock and Roll" design Box. Someone else lost out and could have been there in her place.

I am a huge fan of Suede. Although I've been puzzled by a couple of his designs, I applaude the fact that he has NEVER made a negative comment about any of the other designers or their designs. Unlike everyone else, he doesn't need to do that to feel better about himself. I'm very sick of Kenley's constant bashing, rude remarks, and overblown sense of self-importance.

I am so-o-o-o glad that Terry was sent home for the avant garde show. Not for the outfit, because it clearly wasn't the worst, but because of the way she treated Keith. She was very rude and nasty & didn't give him a chance to do anything. Keith clearly wanted to help her and be part of a team but she blatently ignored him then had the nerve to "blame him" when she found out her garment was not one of the favorites by the judges. Her attitude AND Kenley's are atrocious and need to change. I certainly hope that Kenley is taught that her attitude stinks too. You don't stand there and laugh hysterically while another designer receives their verdict then argue when you get criticized too. I will be hoping that she is the next designer to be eliminated. You must be able to project an attitude of professionalism and be able to take criticism. That's the only way you will be able to make it in this industry.

I just love Project Runway, I watch each episode over and over. I must say this season I am impressed by several contestants. LeAnne has stepped up and started showing us that she is very good, also Kotol is fabulous and I am so glad Terry went home. I think that Stella was actually very funny and she absolutely loved Blaine. Kenley and Swede are good too. I wish them all luck but I think it will come down to Kotol,LeAnne and Terelle.

I don't know what is going with Kenley.
When the season began, she quickly became one of my favorite designers. She is obviously talented but she was also friendly and seemingly well-liked by her fellow designers. Lately, she has morphed into this spoiled brat - defensive, offensive and capricious. She annoys the other designers and judges alike. She has also seemed to develop this Santino attitude of "I'm going to do whatever I like despite the objective of the challenge." The problem is that she is nowhere near as creative or visionary as Santino.
Now I don't know if this is simply a product of BravoTV's editing that the audience has seen more of Kenley's less attractive traits lately (and what's up with the bipolar thing - she goes from crying to lashing out in the blink of an eye) but she should be glad there isn't a Fan's Least Favorite vote.

In my personal opinion, I think Korto has what it takes, to be an infamous name in the fashion industry. If you have been watching, you will see how she executes every time and takes Tim's advice and delivers!! I agree with Reagen, about her being over looked, because she should have won more than two challenges. I would love to see how she does urban men wear, even though her niche, is womens wear. GOOD LUCK KORTO!!!
