6 Times Leonardo DiCaprio's Nature Pics on Instagram Made Us Wanderlusty
Thank you, Mother Earth and Leo, for this gorgeousness.
Some celebrities use Instagram to take (sometimes shameless) selfies on vacation, or to (sometimes shamelessly) promote their work. Newly minted Oscar winner (at last!) Leonardo DiCaprio is all about preaching environmental responsibility — and he uses his Instagram feed to show off pretty spectacular travel imagery that makes us itch to get outdoors. From mountains to glaciers, his pics show that the star (or his dedicated Instagram person) is an expert at curating and regramming from the best of Mother Nature.
This painting-like picture full of puffy clouds makes us want to elevate our travel game and visit our great national parks — including Great Smoky Mountains in Tennessee — to take beautiful sunset photos.
Even though we're over winter, Leo makes cold locations look good. The Revenant, shot in Canada and the American West, has endless allure. We'd love to go for epic hikes and and bundle up next to him in that environment... but we could do without the grizzly bear mauling.
Rainbows in colorful Kenya? Sign us up! Leo's pic piques our interest in safari and jetting off to Africa.
4Grand Prismatic Spring
Yes, more dazzling forest and more wildlife! The star keeps us wanting to go see stunning Yellowstone or somewhere like it, and make like every day is Earth Day.
Postcard-perfect, this canoeing photo instantly connotes calm and clarity. We're reminded of how small we are, but how big our adventures can be.
6Great Barrier Reef
In highlighting the Carmichael Mine, Leo brings our attention down under to Australia's jaw-dropping oceanic jewel. We want to snorkel forever in this precious blue, too.
