OMG: Theon Greyjoy from “Game of Thrones” Brought a Puppy to His Comic-Con Panel

For no reason whatsoever!

Game of Thrones is a very popular television show that everybody watches. Especially us, we definitely watch Game of Thrones. In fact, we watch so much Game of Thrones that if we ever had to write an article about one of its stars, we would be able to make all kinds of references about dragons and winter without having to do any Googling at all!

Theon Greyjoy—which is the name of a character played by Alfie Allen—showed up to the HBO panel at Comic-Con on Friday holding a white-and-grey Pomeranian-esque puppy. When asked about the dog, he simply said, “This is Abby,” and that was it.

He then proceeded to sit at the panel, field questions about dragons and winter and games and thrones, and be generally affable, all while Abby sat very quietly in his lap.

Our only other nugget of information comes by way of a hashtag search of #alfieallen which revealed a screengrab of a Snapchat story posted by Olivia Munn, because it's 2017 and this is how we get news now: Alfie's dog Abby is a rescue—yay! #AdoptDontShop

And there you have it! A Game of Thrones actor brought a puppy to his HBO Comic-Con panel and we wrote an article littered with inside jokes from the show. "Hold the door," arewerite?!
