Alicia Keys Couldn't Settle For One New Hair Color, So She Chose Three

Look out, lob: Mermaid hair is coming for you. For the past year or so, long variations of the bob — think Anna Wintour, but more length — have been taking over our Instagram feed. But in recent weeks, our favorite style stars are skimping on the haircuts and leaning toward Rapunzel-style lengths. 

Kim Kardashian West has been wearing her silky locks long and silvery-blonde, while Beyoncé's recent 'do tumbled past her waist. But Alicia Keys just managed to put the most magical spin on the thigh-grazing trend. Warning: If you don't like unicorns butterflies, and rainbows, look away — because Alicia's feeling them all. 

The singer took to Instagram on Wednesday to offer a peek at her beautiful new braids. The long style represents nearly every shade of the rainbow, with braids in alternating hues of pink, purple, and electric blue. 

The singer used ethereal emjois to illustrate her #currentmood, and gave an ever closer look at those mesmerizing hues.

So, take this as a quick lesson for the next time you're feeling indecisive at the salon. If you can't pick out one hair color, ask for the whole darn rainbow. It certainly looks lovely on Alicia.
