I know it has been said by those in the biz that you should not be the one conducting the reunion shows.
And finally I have to agree.
I think perhaps your bias and relationships get in the way of really getting to the crux of the events.
I think that is why with all the reunion shows it looks like you let some get off easy (Tamra and Bethenny) and others you pounce on because of your own personal bias.
Time to retire the reunion shows to someone who is a skilled interviewer.
Doesn't mean I don't like you but we all have to realize where are skills are best utilized.

Enjoyed the reunion show. Really didn't like the set and was concentrated on watch Danielle "become one" with the couch at each return from break. Just not sure where I want these folks to go from here. I DO enjoy them, but am already NOT missing them as I did the others. Love the family cementing. Danielle needs to disappear or lay real low. NO BOOK Danielle. Why would you do that???

NYC Prep is another addictive train wreck from Bravo. A perfect combination of neuseating and scintillating. Of course we know these kids exist, but seeing them live is just too much. Parents letting kids live on thier own in Manhattan is shocking and bordering on child abuse. Shame on them.
Finally, when will PC come out? It's painful to watch him. It's so.......gay.

well that was a bit intense & uncomfortable last night. you did a great job with the jersey girls. i do agree that joe's remark was offensive but i do believe he wasnt being hateful, also there was an apology. i will move on.

glad you mentioned the set decoration cause i thought it was just me. i felt it was like alice in wonderland moment.

i swore i was not going to watch NYC Prep, but once again i lied to myself. i too hope there is some kind of redemption.

Do you address the whole cash issue with Teresa and Joe?
I think Joe has the mentality of a 12 year old boy. Teresa should have just apoligized and not said another word.
I have to say, even though I watched it all, I was appalled by these women...I find them all too trashy for words. My least favorite group for sure.
Not interested in watching the Prep show....maybe the teenagers will watch. I am awaiting the return of Atlanta and my girl, Nene

I am aghast at the stereotypical behavior of these teens. I'm truly disturbed, not so much that the show is on Bravo, but that the kids seem so spoiled and already neck deep in an adult world (and not the constructive kind). I'll keep watching if only in the unrealistic hopes they are all pretending. Sebastian is, sad to say, already a prick at his age. Good Lord!

The problem with this show is nothing has been explained. There is so much that has not been said. What about all of the cryptic remarks Danielle made about Dina and Caroline all season? Also, people don't hate someone for something they did 25 years ago. It still doesn't make sense. They just look like mean girls.

I was applauding and screaming "THANK YOU!!" at the television when I heard you make the comment that you did about Joe's remark. You were totally spot on and I think millions of self-respecting gay people everywhere would say the same thing you did.

The question is not about whether Joe was joking or not. It is simply not appropriate to use "gay" as a synonym for stupid, or to bandy about any type of slur based on someone's race, disability or sexual orientation. This is an ignorant way to behave and I might expect it from a 13-year old, but adults should know better. Do I have a sense of humor about who I am as a gay man? You bet I do, but being gay does not equate to being stupid and why is that funny? Humor has to be funny in order to work and if the only people who are laughing are the ones outside of the selected group that is being pointed out, then it is NOT appropriate. I think the only gay person who would be okay with the use of gay as a synonym for stupid is someone who is trying to kiss the A** of the person who said it or is genuinely not self-aware of what kind of hurt words can cause.

If ANYONE says that word in that context in my presence (and they have), I correct them immediately and show them how offensive it is to me as a gay person who has been harassed, called much worse words and physically threatened because of who I am. People like Joe might think they are joking, but what they are really doing is saying that it's okay to make fun and treat people who are gay as less than equals...if gay=stupid, then all gay people are second class in their minds...they don't know any better, but ignorance is no excuse and it is not harmless knowing that people are tortured or killed or ostracized for being gay to say "lighten up." Anyone who says that to you has not walked in a gay person's shoes...

So, I tell people who use gay as a synonym for stupid to find another word, because they are just showing how ignorant and intolerant they really are, end of story.

Thank you again for being bold enough to say something...I never talk back to the television, but I was really cheering. Teresa needs to stop trying to make her point and LISTEN to what other people say. All of those NJ housewives are more intent on drowning each other out with some vapid comment than in truly HEARING each other or anyone else for that matter. They all need serious therapy...

Andy I think you handled the obvious tension in the room VERY well and touched on all the right topics in the appropriate amount (i.e. your offense to Joe's comment but not pushing it too far). I have to say that of all the casts, I liked this the absolute best for the "realness" that their story lines evoked and where their personal focuses lay. They do not seemed obsessed with status and accumulating materialistic items like the others. I have to add that I am in awe of how beautiful Dina presents.

As I wrote in a previous comment, your remarks were totally correct and appropriate in last nights show. Thank you for sticking up for us. Even though Joe's connotation of the word 'gay' wasn't hateful or even mean-spirited, the way he used it did have a negative tone to it. Thanks for bringing that up especially during Gay Pride week.

Hey did you see "yourself" on Chelsea last night? They did the NJ reunion for you. some was very funny, some was over the top, and I can't figure out why joe's cousin from facts of life was there (and why "you" grabbed her boobie).
