It really is a crispy and cracklin' sunny fall day in Manhattan. And that's a beautiful thing.

What did you think of the ribald conversation at last night's tasting table on Top Chef? It love that we left it in the show because it was REAL and FUN. Sometimes we don't have time for any "fat" in the episodes so you don't get to see how much fun Padma and co. are. Speaking of ribald conversation, don't forget to watch part 1 of the ATL Reunion tonight, and then I'll be live at midnight with Kandi and Ray J. (I really WILL be live — we have a backup system that will prevent what happened last week.)

Last night I had dinner with Mark Consuelos and Kelly Ripa, and I think we are all going to want to tune into tomorrow's Halloween edition of Regis and Kelly. That's all I'm saying....

This is It is getting reviewed all over the place. I loved what Variety had to say, and once again The NY Times' Manohla Dargis left me scratching my head. I don't get her POV a lot. She writes a lot of words, though. Are they just scrambled together, like this blog?

I am obsessed with the piece in the Times Home Section about a furniture designer who made a bachelor pad out of a one-bedroom aparment by converting it into a loft with conversation pit. (I know how gay that reads, but I am thinking the bachelor in question is straight, by the way.) In any case, I want a convo pit!

Until then, the Bravo Clubhouse will have to do.

: 10/30/2009 - 1:45pm; synthia45; Why were the women on the Housewives of Atlanta so tight lipped? Andy, you seemed like you were trying to pull answers out of them and they were so "reserved", which is so not like how they are on the show. I hope part II will be juicier!!! Love you Andy!!!

DVR'ed the Reunion so I can't wait to watch it, but loved the Top Chef this week--hilarious at the dinner table, wish I could have been there! Keep up the good work...thx!

Kandi is sure gutsy to put herself out there after what she has been through. Good for her. Get the "Watch what happens" to an hour please Bravo.

: 10/29/2009 - 1:37pm; mmc; Loved Top Chef last night.I almost felt sorry for the chefs when they were drooling over all the gorgeous steaks and chops.Then the vegetarian bomb was dropped.That is a tough challenge. You have to really know what you're doing to make a meatless dish taste good. It can be done as we saw with Kevin.I make a few good ones too, but usually my Husbands question will be "where's the meat?"Sometimes it's hard to break habits.

: 10/29/2009 - 11:31am; Slayrah; Andy my dear, you DO need a convo pit - you are a master conversationalist. Top Chef was hilar, I loved the ribald conversation. In 12 years of restaurant experience, I've found that restaurant peeps engage in the most debauchery, even in upscale settings. Looking forward to the ATL reunion, I expect drama as always! :)
