It is a crispy fall day in Manhattan. The sun is shining and everybody is a little crackly. Tonight's "Top Chef: Just Desserts" challenge is one of my favorites -- they have to make edible sweet dresses. It is superfun to see and just might make you hungry for some chokkie.
I got so caught up with the miners last night that I could barely sleep. How exciting! And tearful! I had to turn off CNN after Anderson handed off to Larry King, who was ranting like an idiot about Sepulveda being the name of a major street in LA and blah blah blah talking over images that didn't need stupid commentary. The rescues themselves were so chilling and exciting and emo. And I want dibs on a date with Florencio Avelino (if he ever wants to head in another direction.)
Florencio, call me!
I don't have much else to say today -- I have been working like crazy this week. When I haven't been working on Bravo stuff I've been working out. And I am so hungry as a result.
Is it just me or are these Chilean miners muy, muy, good looking! And they all really go in for a really good hug, especially the Presidente!!!!
Its really time for Larry King to retire, he does ask the dumbest questions ever and he yells questions, yells commentary I mean comon' STFU I switched to CNN International no yelling!!!
Loved all the reveals on Flipping Out last night, and the NBC/Home Beautiful kitchen, beautiful did you see it up close and in person? Will there be a reunion? ya know just want to get a little more of Jeff's lips before I have to wait till next season My reunion question is when will Jeff adopt a baby?
I too was watching all night and still watching the rescuing of the miners in Chile. I too was a little pissed when Anderson signed off on CNN and Larry King came on! Does he always sound like he has a mouth full of cotton balls? This kind of coverage should be left to the Anderson's at CNN not an aging talk show host that is more celebrity than worldly. I was just wondering if those miners were still on the clock and getting paid for every hour that they were down there? Hopefully these amazing, strong willed, God fearing men will be getting battle pay. God be with them all!!
Andy, Something that is still bothering me about the "Salahi Saga" is this issue with the invitation. If you ever have a chance to interview them on "Live" again, please ask them about this: Based on the emails that THEY THEMSELVES released, they knew as of the day of the dinner that they had YET to be confirmed as "invited" the dinner. They were still corresponding with Michelle Jones to receive an "invite". That in mind, why did Michaele pretend to be searching for the invitation the day of the event? Remember how she acted like she was looking throughout the car and her bags for the invitation and acted as though she just couldn't find it? I'd like to hear her answer as to why she misled everyone by doing that?
Andy: Is there to be a "Flipping Out" reunion show? I don't see it on the schedule and have heard nothing about it one way or the other. Don't leave us hanging.
