Andy, you are awesome your questions are honest and provocative. You ask the truth and don't sugarcoat and I love that. I just wanted to let you know that I found Teresa and her husband's comments offensive. In the post civil rights era is is not politically (or in my eyes morally correct) to make racially offensive jokes and I find Teresa's husband's comments offensive and tasteless. How about casting classy jersey women the next time??

I've watched you host these reuniouns for a few seasons now and I've always admired your objectivity and professionalism.
Danielle has brought something new to this formum-Danger to her other cast members. Many of us viewers feel that BRAVO is being irresponsible in allowing Danile who is clearly distubed to have a negative and possibly dangerous affect on the other cast mates. This goes further than just the average bickering and dislike. Why dont you see any other bloggers from other shows critizing Danielle? believe me-no one wants to get tangled up with her and are remaining silent.

I really like you a lot but you are also coming across irresponsibly by being associated with this. The ratings may go up and yes this is juicy but by bringing out more of daniells poison to her cast mates one cant help but think you are profiting from this as well.

You are being irresponsible as well as BRAVO. Something to think about Andy.

I appreciate you saying you were offended by the gay comments - kudos to you. I'd like to add, as a professional Italian-American, I'm offended by the "Sopranos" comments and Bethenney's comments on her blog about being "whacked". I think it would be commendable for Bravo and Bethenney to offer an apology regarding the Italians and the stereotypes constantly being portrayed about us. It does not reflect in any manner who most of us really are. I will not watch any more shows until an apology is offered.

As a viewer who has watched all episodes of the NJ Housewives, I am left wondering. Why were we left hanging with an unexplained comment and/or action that Caroline brought up regarding Danielle? We have a right to know so we can make up our own minds.

Not sure if anyone has provided a rebuttal to Dina's lie about the cost of her wedding, but I was just watching WE TV and Platinum Weddings came on. Lo and behold, it was Dina and Tommy's wedding. At the end of the show it said total cost: $1,150,000! If you recall in the season finale you asked her if it cost a million and she said NO! Goes to show it's hard to believe anything out of these women's mouths. Why lie when you knew you were already on a reality show that highlighted totals of your wedding. Why be shy about the ridiculous cost now when you're were ok getting the exposure years before!(SIGH)

Love the show, will there be a season 2? Although I don't like Danielle she did make the show exciting. I admire Caroline and her loyalty to the family, wish I had such a family.

Did anybody notice that the other "ladies" were smirking, rolling their eyes, or just plain looking blank when Danielle was sharing the story of the abuse and neglect of her childhood? Caroline looked like she was trying not to laugh at one point. All the while, tears were streaming down Danielle's face in sheets. That's when I knew what close-minded, callous, cold-hearted b*****s they were.

By the time this reunion aired, I knew there was something in Danielle's childhood that went really wrong, as she shows all the signs and residual effects of abuse and neglect, starting with her extreme hunger for connection. Her strong sexuality and sometimes child-like naivete about people [like that "jewel" Steve] are also sometimes the result of sexual or other abuse, and sometimes rape as an adult. What she said about just wanting family like the others, etc, rang as completely authentic. I can tell you this from personal experience and from observation of others. She was the most authentic person there.

And kudos to you, Andy, for standing up to Teresa and coming out! I was really proud of you. I suppose Teresa and her hubby wouldn't understand that women don't like their gender--or their anatomy--being used as metaphor's for "coward", "weak", "inferior", etc. That's just "a figure of speech", too, r-i-i-i-ght? [Funny how T doesn't like to be called stupid or dumb, or the Manzo's like the Italian stereotypes. I guess they're not familiar with the word 'hypocrite'.]

And like another poster, I noticed that darn book couldn't have fit in D's tiny purse, either? Why, Andy, darling, didn't you ask about this??!!! [Smooch to you, anyway.]

What I am curious about is the sound byte when Caroline said to you, "I want to see if my Bravo family has the balls to put this on the air..." paraphrasing....so what the heck was that and it looks like something was cut that Theresa said as well...and we need to know what the heck happened that Danille did that Caroline wanted to say and Dina would not allow her say....come on...give it up...we know you know....suggestion...get rid of that skank Danielle and if her ex is smart he would use the video clips of her sexual activities in front of her daughters and take them away. She is a sick person and should not be permitted to raise two daughters....

Furthermore, Caroline's severe reaction to what Danielle attempted to do to Dina is something we should all know about... and she should not be asked back to season 2....please do not reward this horrible behavior and this disgustng person...it is obvious that Damielle is a pathological liar...she sat there staring at Caroline and said outright that she had no idea what Caroline was talking about in regard to Dina... we all know that Caroline did not make this up...come on Andy.. get real for a change...

Caroline and Dina are the sisters we would all love to have as part of our families...they love and respect one another and would do anything to help each other, and Jacqueline, I am confused by her behavior. She seems to be using Danielle for some excitement in her life but it is her sister in laws that are there for her, not that skank Danielle. WAKE UP Jacqueline...or are you doing this just for the sake of drama yourself???

The children are watching....what kind of a role model do you want to be for them...everyone tell me, who is the only one sitting in that room that you would never want raising your daughters...

Maybe you have to be an Italian to understand what "family" means to Italians. It doesn't mean that you can't have friends outside the family....it means that families never let anyone, or anything come between their family, or harm any members of the family. It's family first.

I thought your comment about being offended about the "gay" comment was a little hypocritical considering your current comment about Gov. Sanford "crying like a little girl." Do little girls cry differently than little boys? Was this supposed to be a slam considering he's a grown man and it would be more insulting to compare him to a little girl than a little boy? Please remember that we all say things without thinking. Believe me I'm no fan of Gov. Sanford - and I just wanted to point that out to you. You do little girls an injustice when you say things like that. I'm a big fan of the "Real Housewives" shows -but I take it all with a grain of salt and try not to be "offended" too easily.

Where are the NJ t-shirts? I must have the grey tank top that says "Let me tell you something about my family..."! You yourself held up the tank top with Caroline's quote in a preview for the reunion, but we never saw it in the actual reunion. (This isn't the only thing! What about Caroline saying "I hope my Bravo family has the balls to put this on"? Put WHAT on? This season better have a seriously fat Lost Footage episode!)

I would like to add that you do an awesome job with the reunions! I love the way you handled some of Danielle's insane answers--subtle changes in facial expression and tone of voice...it really made me laugh. Thanks.

though there were many questions left unanswered, i totally enjoyed the reunion shows. i love dina and caroline's sisterly bond and they way they communicate their shared desire to put family first no matter what. i think teresa is funny and though she was brought to her breaking point and lost it--i still love her too. jacquline is great but i don't understand her friendship or why she would even want one with danielle. danielle is a walking talking example of what NO ONE NEEDS as a friend. yes she has a past and i just read about legal details of it on smoking gun from court records. she absolutely IS everything the rumors state. there was no need for her to lie about her past or try to use synonymous words after the book surfaced. she WAS a kidnapper, prostitute, and drug addict in 1986 but this is 2009. just admit that you have workrd on your life and are none of those things today.as for jacquline, how is a pathological liar a good friend?

So, where can i go (on the internet) to find out the big mystery at the end of the 2nd reunion show? Does anyone know what happened? What made Caroline so upset?

After seeing Caroline leaving us with the cliffhanger at the end, I'm on the fence about thinking the whole thing was a sham. Were the ladies in cahoots? Real tears? The facial expressions of Caroline was something else. Who speaks like that? I have never seen anyone more animated. Not even cartoon charaters. A setup for season 2? Who are all these gay men in Teresa's life? Joe has many gay friends and one was over when they were watching the gay slur scene? A new gay friend at that too. I don't buy it one bit. Anyone with gay friends would never make a statement like that, cameras, mics, etc rolling.

Danielle sounded scripted about the go-go dancing part. This had all the makings of the most boring HW series yet but it was the most exciting. New Jersey? Who would have thought. I was even shaking during the last supper. So intense.

Andy,Iam completly over the NJ Housewives.They are all horrible women.There out to destroy each others lives and i dont find any of it very fitting for the housewives brand & i am totally done with NJ & OC.Just like tamara tried to destroy gretchen,not cool.These two shows are not even entertaining anymore.Since when is it fun to watch people destroy other peoples life?The only housewives that are watchable is the New York Ladies period.They are a joy to watch & i hope they dont turn out like the other horrifying housewives on the OC & NJ.

Andy, you did an amazing job but I don't know how you kept a straight face with those ridculous, ignorant cows. My friend and I kept sending Caroline's stupid quotes back and forth to each other all day and laughed our butts off. How could she act like that and have a local business here in NJ. I would NEVER set foot in the Brownstone after getting to know this family. They are garbage, but so much fun to watch.

I have to say that I have said the comment of "that's gay" in no way it means what you thought it would be. My interpretation is that means is stupid or dumb, not relevant to ones sex preferences. I do have gay friends and in no way i would make fun of them. Each one takes a different interpretation.

There was a preview aired for the reunion in which Caroline says, "...I hope my Bravo family has the balls to put this on..." Seriously, I am irritated that this wasn't included in the reunion. I saw it over and over again in the previews and was naturally very curious to know just what it was that Caroline thought was so shocking that Bravo might not air it. Why did the network do this? It doesn't make sense to show her saying that and then NOT air it. Was it just not exciting, or did Bravo indeed not "have the balls" to air it? If so, why would you 'admit' that to your viewers by omitting that part? Is it going to appear in the Lost Footage episode?
I know it is my choice to watch television, but I don't think it's fair to mislead a very involved/interested public! I invested 9 hours of my life into this series (6 episodes, Last Supper, 2 Reunion episodes) and you left out the most provocative aspects of the reunion (which is the most provocative episode).

Caroline pretends to be a maffia-tuff babe but when Jacqueline came to her about the car, her husband bought to her daughter, she didn't have the guts to discuss it with him but jumped on Jacqueline about it. Really weak!!!

Why did Caroline cry because of some stupid thing Danielle did. She wants sympathy but it doesn't seem logical to be bully-tough and a cry-baby. She is just being a hypocrite and doesn't show the real person behind the facade.

I have to say I was really let down by the 2nd part of the reunion. Too many unresolved issues.

What was the deal with Caroline crying b/c of what Danielle did? Did she put a hit out on Dina or sleep with one of Caroline's sons and give him herpes or what?? I don't get it.

Also, what was wrong with Teresa, did she fullfill the total amount of vocabulary she knows for the day therefore could only make faces and grunts??

All in all Andy, you did a wonderful job once again and please tell me if you and Jeff Lewis hook up, you would make a gorgeous couple!

Andy, I love you and all of the Real Housewives shows. But I am sorry to say that NYC Prep may be one of the worst television shows I have ever seen. These self-indulgent, self-absorbed CHILDREN should not be rewarded for their disgusting behaviors. Hi Andy - Love your reunion shows, but wondering why you didn't push some of the housewives to further explain, or call them out (ie, Danielle) on obvious lies? You seem tougher in the OC and NYC reunion shows. I guess I'm hoping against hope that someone will finally call Danielle out as her stories change constantly, also hoping she won't be asked back. With everything which happened yesterday, I still wanted to hear the Jersey girls out, so I watched the 2nd half of the reunion. How disgusting is it to reveal a conflict that Caroline has with Danielle and show the audience the angst in Caroline over it but not have the balls to bring it out into the opening. That was the worst. It's like saying "oh you really should hear this, but I can't tell you.

That portion should have been edited out completely since there was no closure on it. Unless you are planning to address it in Season 2 burt frankly it's cheap, theatrics and a poor way to treat your viewers.

I think it's kind of funny that with the title of this blog no one is interested in Dillinger's tallywacker after all! Even though he's dead it must be a blow to his deceased ego.

Danielle's history is really none of our business, but it has made the show very real and no one person is perfect. BRAVO!!!

I was very disgusted with last nights episode. I am tired of hearing that "I'm Italian and have a bad temper" BULL. My family is Italian and we NEVER behaved like that. Caroline is a disgrace! Where do you get the patience to listen to these broads?! They make for good entertainment, but it must take a special kind of ego for them to to participate in a 'show-all' that reveals how semi-literate (Teresa), maniacal ( Danielle), and paranoid (Caroline) some of them are! I hear that they don't do it for the money, and I'd love for you to ask them that very question one day. Why? People are amazing, aren't they!

Andy, with all that you DID ask about, I can't help wondering why you didn't ask a few of these things:

Why do Joe and Teresa carry hundreds of thousands of dollars in cash?

Where did the book appear from at dinner? It wasn't in her tiny purse.

Why were we given the impression that Danielle had hired her own personal plastic surgeon for the spa party, when in fact he can be heard introducing himself to her as he enters the house?

In some of the interviews, the Manzos claim that Jacqueline only met Danielle when filming began, but on the reunion, it was said that they'd known each other for a year before filming. Why the lies?

I think Danielle is kind of crazy, but the other women are no better. Danielle seemed so desperate for friends, yet unable to figure out how to befriend anyone. Depressing, really.

And, on another note, you are really pretty hot.

Andy I'm mad at you - "I know something great but I can't tell you" is my BIGGEST PET PEEVE!!! Then don't say ANYTHING AT ALL!!!! I love you too much not to forgive you soon but it will take some time.

Watched the reunion conclusion and liked it enough. There weren't any of the usual fireworks and the ladies were respectful of each other BUT I think Danielle is still a head case. She lies or skates around direct questions and can't tell the truth if her life depended on it. As far as the other women not liking her - a quote my mom always told me - "It's hard to make a 'second' first impression". Meaning what you do the first time sticks and it's hard or near impossible to change people's impression of how you came across when they first met you.

I don't know where people get the idea that any of these women can't or don't have friendships outside the family. The show showed Dina having a girls night out and Caroline said how the Kericks are her and her husband's best friends. We only see snippetes of their lives.

The funniest moment for me was the look of confusion on your face when Dina, Jacqueline, and Caroline tried to "explain" their involvement in the book. They kept talking over each other and contradicting each other as they did it. You looked totally baffled and seemed to be holding in the laughter at the absurdity. Great TV!

But please explain to the viewers how you could let irresponsible Teresa “out” Dina’s assistant on national TV. Could you have not edited that comment out of the show? Let me make this crystal clear. THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH BEING GAY, but it was very irresponsible to let that comment slip out.

I think your spinoff just got a spinoff - specifically I think Danielle can easily hold her own headlining her own show. She has all the elements and you know it would never be boring.

How, how, how in the name of God do you control not rolling your eyes? Danielle is psycho and makes no sense at all. Do you shoot tequila during the commercial breaks? I would have to bury my head in a pillow and scream. God bless you for having so much tolerance.

i would take caroline and her family as friends anyday! she is honest and totally correct in her initial assusmptions of danielle as in the conclusion. danielle is a pathological liar who was completely full of contraditions throughout the series and 2 night reunion. could i ever forgive her, NO, just like caroline! even not knowing the "threat" against dina, i have to hang with caroline....her intuitions are good, her family is loved (immediate, siblings, in-laws) by her and obviously it's reciprotacted. basisally, the reunion proved danielle is jealous of anyone with a happy life. danielle wants so bad for any of these other womens life that she goes to extremes to make herself look better with extreme backfires. i personally take her as white trash. we all can blame our pasts for whatever reasons, however, as adults it's up to us to turn that around to positives! danielle is a phsyciatrists dream, and needs years of heavy duty therapy. afterwards, then and only then, if i was caroline would i ever consider a vague friendship. caroline didn't bring about all this drama people, it was danielle on everything!!! she is a pitiful, evil woman who will go to any extreme. she obviously learned how to execute these evil ways from her past.

A great deal of time was spent arguing about "WHO SHOWED THE BOOK", Dina or Caroline? My question is, what difference does it make? Why wasn't Danielle equally outraged at Caroline? When Caroline said, "I showed the book," Danielle's response was "That's not what I heard." Big deal! Why didn't she turn her anger on Caroline? Wait, maybe I already know the answer to that!

Tonight the reunion conclusion was a lot of things - calm, interesting, a little anger mixed in and a lot of questions unanswered. Like, what in the hell did Danielle ask someone to do to Dina? Wow, is my curiosity out of control! I just didn't buy a lot of what Danielle was selling though I do feel sorry for her childhood. She still twists the truth as she wants for the moment. And she was a 'burlesque' dancer? I think that was a load of crap. Did she have feather fans too? hahaha

What a fantastic job you do working with groups. There were a couple of moments where you could have attempted to pull more information in particular the types of threats that Caroline was talking about. An individual can only think of the worst things i.e. something Tanya Harding like. Kudos!

What the hell did Danielle do do Dina that Dina won't talk about?? This is kind of eating at me. After all, this is the real story that we want to hear about, not this tame stuff you guys were showing us tonight on T.V. Really, it would be much more interesting to find out the back story to some of what's going on Andy and you're the guy to make it happen. Come on, let us in.

I think Caroline should just get a life and stop being mouth piece for Dina and Jaqueline. She is just hang up on being a goody-too-shoe. I love how Jacqulyn stands by her friend. Caroline asks like she has never made any mistakes and she gets on my nerves and her daughter does seem stupid, what does she do? Out of all of Catoline's children the only one that seems like they are going any where is the lawyer. Even though Jacqulyn has money she is not superficial, she is down to earth i love her.

It's amazing how she denys thng because there is a clip during the season when she even says that she was a stripper. Besides in 20th century America, burlesque dancers became associated with a variety show in which striptease is the chief attraction. She is a fake and I think she just does things to get attention. Andy, I love how you look like you really do believe some of the stuff that comes out of her mouth :-). But it really must be hard when the wives talk about stuff that happens after the show and not ask question about it.

On a good note, this Real Housewives reunion was pretty calm compared to a few others. You're a great host. Maybe you guys should do Houston :-).

Did the producers/powers that be research Daniels history prior to the show? If not why? If so, is her shady past why they put her on the show? It would seem that her character is questionable enough to not have her on the show. I have felt that "Housewives" had some class and her history was pretty bad. Her behavior on the show seems to reflect that the Tiger has not changed it's stripes.

This NJ season was very entertaining... However, I would like to make a couple statements.. It is ridiculous how Jacqueline can not have friends outside the family... Jacqueline is grounded! She has regular parents who respects family but they also uphold true friendships. All of the women had inappropriate behaviors and decision making. However, Dina, Caroline, n Teresa didnt like Danielle for all the wrong reasons.. Danielle is a brave-strong women and I do believe she was a threat... Yes, Caroline is strong and can hold her own but she herself knows that Danielle can go toe to toe with her.. Danielle is not intimidated by the strength or the backing of the family...It is unhealthy to not have friends outside the family. We all should love our family to the death but we need strong outside relationships. The family should not choose your friendships... Yes, Teresa is outside the family but in their eyes, she's their "yes girl". Diversity is a must in this world...

Regarding the "gay" comment, it brought me back to childhood. Describing things or people whom we did not like as "gay" or "retarded" was commonplace; all the while not realizing how hateful these words are. Political correctness wasn't something we were aware of and frankly, few parents would even scold or correct when children used such words. For any adult to use these words today serves perhaps (in some cases) as an example of bad judgment. I don't think Joe had hateful intentions, but maybe he (and the rest of us) will choose our words carefully and realize their repercussions if and when used. As Lynne said during the OC reunion show: "Words hurt".

I think the perfect spin off for this show (and if it happens, I get a cut or at the VERY least, a date with you) should be "Housewife Cage Fighting". Forget the "undisclosed, warehouse in NJ" set, put the cage right out there in Times Square and let them go at it. Of course, the season finale would be Danille vs. everyone, oh wait, it already is.....

I will watch the reunion tonight. I would really like to see Danielle over come the problems in her life and be able to move on from her past. HEY we make mistakes in life...all of us...and that is part of what sculptures us into who we are today. SO DANIELLE hold your head up...the past is exactly that..the past..so move on and let people believe what they want. The real peace of mind comes from with in you!

I don't know who to write this too, but Bravo needs to put the real housewifes of New Jersey on box set. My girlfriends and I would love to watch it over and over again. This was the greatest season ever!!!!!!

All very entertaining to watch and discover real life america... I ve been in self imposed exile in Europe for a quarter of a century, still dew faced i may add... Its fun for the most part. Since i have been brainwashed by my family upon my return to America, I signed up for one of your upcoming fashion tv shows in the fall.. Of course its all a secret but all i can say that compared to what i have seen on the Fashion Show.. the new show
is without comparison mainly due to one thing... THE LEVEL of Talent infront and behind

I wanted to write to let you know I just watched the NJ Reunion Part 1 last night on DVR and I was so moved by your sincere concern when Jacqueline cried during discussion of her miscarriages. As a mom who has two beautiful babies but also suffered two difficult miscarriages I can tell you the pain is very real, it does not go away just becuase you have another baby. Thank you for treating her pain with respect and acknowledging it is real.

Lucky you- you are like a fly on the wall and really know the "whole, unedited story" of these women. I just wish there could be an episode called, "Andy Sheds Some Light on ALL the Housewives." I would love to hear your two cents on these women. You're like a psycho therapist who knows a lot about people but due to confidentiality you can't talk.
