I am in the greenroom at Today. There's an overload of donuts in the corner that I am trying to resist. Kathie Lee just came up to me and had me make a muscle so she could squeeze it. I am trying to act like this is normal.
Tonight is the premiere of the The Real Housewives of Atlanta followed by an awesome Thintervention that features Jackie Warner busting out the lie detector test. Oh yes she DID. What to say about Atlanta this season -- I looove it. It makes me smile so big. The two new Housewives bring much to the table. Several of the women go through some really deep, deep stuff. You meet Kim's parents. Dwight gets into it with NeNe and Sheree from the get-go. Is that enough of a tease??
I am so pissed there are only two episodes of Mad Men left to go. URGH. DAMN. SHOOT. Am I alone in not loving Don's new love interest? I know she's supposed to be his conscience, but.... Maybe we're all just resistant to change. It has been a pleasure seeing less of Betty this season, I will say that. Not a fan.
Please tell me you saw Linda Evans on Oprah last week talking about aging. Did you? At first I was agape at Linder's somewhat clownish post lip augmented face, but than I listened to what the wise lady had to say (with great husky, Washington-state authority) and got into her vibe. She lives on a gazillion acres in the Northwest and is very happy. She had facework to feel young around Yanni, she said. If ever there was a good reason to have facework, that's it -- don't ya think? She is, and will always be Forever Krystle, I say.
Have a great day, and let me know what you think of ATL and Thintervention.
is it weird that the first thing I do on Monday morning is go to your blog????? You make me miss NY by your funny, smart, retorical look at everything!
Andy! I loooove you! You are the best host and you really know how to keep those housewives in check. I practically druel all week waiting for all the housewives episodes and of course they all mean NOTHING without Watch What Happens - afterward!!! When i recruit friends and family and even stragers lately to BRAVO TV to watch all their reality shows, and let me tell you I watch almost all of them...they always say the same thing and that is "It sounds like you are talking about real people in your life that you know!" My mom compares my addiction to BRAVO reality shows to my grandmother and her soap operas. I guess it is almost the same as i used to be a channel 7 (In NewYork) girl back in my day! I had to watch All My Children, One Life to Live, and General Hospital and eventually, then Oprah! From 1pm to 5pm. I was there! Now its Monday nights and Thursday nights and the difference is these people are real and the stuff that happens is so good it could never be pre-concieved! I love that now a days we have DVR and TIVO and so forth. I will never miss you and all the Bravo shows for any reason. Oh and i LOVE the BRAVO commercial with all my friends in it. Is ther anywhere to watch the entire commercial? Because on Bravo I have seen i believe 3 parts of the same commercial with all the cast memebers at the cocktail party! Its genius especially when Jenny does a cannonball inot the pool and it splashes all over Jeff! I take these shows to heart so much that now i went and ordered WEN heair products from Chaz Dean mostly because I met him on Flipping Out and he seemed so sweet to have a homeless woman living behind his salon (The one who died after Jeff mad fun of her!) Oh what i wouldnt give to be at that caoktail psrty in the commercial! How does on go about gettin on one of Bravo's reality shows. I am a 48 year old pretty nice looking woman in NJ but not in Franklin Lakes! LOL but even a guest appearance would be the best thing to ever experience. You should have a fan on your show as part of the panel or maybe fans that clash over how they feel and who they like and dont like every once in awhile. If Bravo ever needs a fan of all the Bravo shows ( I watch 95% of them) to be a guest anywhere, anytime I am your gurl! Keep up the good work! I love you Andy Cohen! You always make me smile!!!!
Have to tell you Andy that as soon as I saw the word Donuts in your title I had to read. I am overly obsessed with donuts and can't pass on up whenever there is one around. LOL Anyway love you, your show and your whit! Keep up the great shows.
Andy, What'd you have to mention the "overload of donuts"??? I've been craving those sugary little devils all day!
Am I the only one who thinks it's perfectly reasonable to simultaneously scarf a donut-or two-throw back a whiskey shot, AND run on the treadmill while watching Housewives re-runs?
Yes! I saw Linda...good for her..she's found peace!!
As for that..it's doubtful that the Atlanta ladies will find any! Looking so forward to the first show...and..I loved Tina on the show with ya...a lot of fun!
I can't sympathize with Don the Mad Man...he's a jerk...this season was boring....about to quit watching!!
Thanks for being there for us Andy...love ya!!!
When will the Atlanta ladies have a blog. Unless some'ems up on my end, I don't see Atlanta listed under the shows. What's up? the ladies...can't write? ps....the first show was RIVETING! wow. Excitement...right out of the box! That's why I hope to hear from the ladies themselves. Blog, ladies, blog!
