Tonight is the "Flipping Out" reunion, and it is really something to see. It's funny and emotional. We taped 2 weeks ago, and it was the first time Ryan and Jeff had seen each other since the finale taping in June. It is raw, deep, and real - and it all plays out in front of the camera. I felt like a third wheel in the room, and, um, like I wanted to cry. We'll discuss more tomorrow.

Last night I went to the one-night-only benefit performance of "The Year of Magical Thinking" starring Vanessa Redgrave at St. John the Divine. The evening was intense and emotional for every reason you can imagine. Redgrave looked and was as stunning as the setting itself. We shmoozed with Dame Meryl Streep and Lynn Redgrave before the performance.

They don't make women like Streep and Redgrave anymore - you realize that, don't you? Who will take their place, Ashley Judd? (I have nothing against Ashley Judd - I like her - I just can't think of an example right now.)

Andy, while home sick and flipping channels, I ran across your show with Tabatha and Gretchen. You looked great sitting there with that shirt unbuttoned just enough to tease. Any chance there are any shirtless pics of you out there anywhere?

Now a Fan in KC,MO.

Hey Andy, watching you get emotional during the fight between Ryan and Jeff made me wonder if you are Jeff's mysterious boyfriend of not quite a year? It was such an intense scene but not just the 2 of them but between the 3 of you. It seemed that you care about them both. And you and Jeff have a vibe going..... just though I'd ask. You'd make a dynamite couple.

Best Wishes

Andy, I am such a fan of Bravo and you. The "Flipping Out" reunion special broke my heart, and I could sense that it was heart breaking to you, too. I feel like Jeff portrays a caricature of his real self on the show (like most reality shows, I imagine), but this season, culminating with last nights' reunion, showed a glimpse of the REAL reality. I heart Jeff and I want him to find love and happiness.

By the way - I'm a big fan of your talk show, and would be among the first to DVR it if you had a daily show.

You rock...

This was the best Flipping Out ever! Very sad and yet very funny!

I love Jeff Lewis's dark sense of humor! I really hope tho he can come to grips with Ryan and forgive as I feel really sad for Chloe who is the loser in this. I hope they both reconcle their friendship.

I am soooo looking forward to next season! Jeff and Jenni and the whole cast we love you!

Andy I am so glad for the reunion shows and WWHL--definitely the best.

The reunion show was painful to watch. Jeff said it isn't about the money but obviously it is......it always is. I wonder if the supposedly lost revenue to Ryan's "client stealing" is worth losing a best friend and Chloe. I doubt it. There are a lot of lonely people in the world with plenty of money that aren't really happy. I hope these two work things out - even if only for Chloe's sake.

Andy - the Flipping Out reunion was by far the BEST reunion I've ever seen - and I've seen a lot. Bravo is my favorite channel. I was on the edge of my seat hoping Ryan would at least admit maybe he could have done things differently and then had to grab the tissues when the show ended. I would love to know what happened when Jeff and Ryan parted and Jeff went into that back room. I think you handled the situation very well - although you did look uncomfortable I think you did a good job mediating. Just like Jeff's dad recommended, they needed a third party in the room. It was pretty obvious how much all of this has hurt Jeff. Now that I know his mother passed away when she was 39, you can see it's affected Jeff (I lost my mom when she was 37).

I was not a fan of reality tv until Bravo came along and showed the world how it should be done. Jeff is very human to us - we get him, we love him and the more we see the more we want. And he's oh so nice looking too. He's a good guy with a big heart and he's got some very loyal employees/family-friends. When you called Jenny his long suffering assistant, I had to wonder why. She obviously cares very deeply for and dare I say it, loves Jeff - you could see it at the end. While she loves Ryan too, she has pledged her allegiance to Jeff and I'm so glad he has someone like her (and Zoila) in his life. She is good for him and they work well together. Jeff loves her too - it's so obvious. She's his confidant and best friend and that's good for them. I secretly wish they would hook up, get married and have a couple of babies. Jenny can handle Jeff and she would be the perfect match for him aside from the whole gay thing LOL.

I can't wait for season four. This is the best tv show ever and I want to thank you personally for bringing it to me. I even got my brother hooked on the show. Can you please, please put seasons 1 and 2 on DVD? So many of us would buy it. Thank you from Kelly Jean in Washington, DC!

Andy, why is it everytime you are around Jeff, all you do is insult, provoke or roll your eyes at Jeff Lewis? I also want to know why you never ask Jenni why she doesn't just leave. Obviously she is there for a reason. The show has only been in works for around 3 1/2 years. She has worked with Jeff for almost eight. Maybe you should ask Jenni, "Jenni, would you ever consider not working for Jeff Lewis?" "Jenni, why do you work for Jeff?" or "Jenni, how would you feel about working for Ryan at Brown design instead?" Everyone has a choice in life, and clearly Jenni, and Zoila feel Jeff is the better person to work for. Or at the least, the best job for them at this stage in their lives. I do not believe they are working for Jeff out of necessity.

This was the best of all Bravo reunion shows I've seen. Andy, you really bring out the best in your guests. One of the funniest moments was Jeff denying he plays Twister. The ending was very touching and I certainly hope they can work thru their differences.

jeff, you may never read this, and it might not matter to you, but i just heard you say more than once, "another vitim, another vitim of jeff lewis."
i don't believe that for a second, don't you let anyone convince you that you victimize everyone around you. what you are is someone who has a wickedly hilarious sense of humor, "not everyone appreciates that in people." you are brilliant, and you always give 100%. when someone consistently strives to do their best, it's hard to understand why everyone doesn't. you are not the most sensitive person, but you are tough as nails. when you are a strong personality, and let's face it jeff.... you are the personality!!!! i do not care for reality shows, but i wait for flipping out, i watch re-runs, i love it, and people tune in because of you. you crack me up.
my staff often jokes that i'm insensitive. i'm not insensitive, but i'm not soft, i don't have time for cry baby, personal problem stuff in the work place, but if push came to shove, my longtime staffers know that i'm there if they need me. that is why i know your staff is not victims, you are there for them, we've seen. people can say what they like about what the viewers have seen in how you treat your staff....they adore you, i saw that.

Yikes..a big bunch of empathy for both Jeff and Ryan at this crossroads in their relationship. Through my head I keep hearing Suze Orman saying.."people first, then money, then things.
I also Keep remembering the expression, dont poop where you eat. For Jeff, the biggest liability he has is doing business with friends, and his case, ex-lover.
While I feel for Jeff..and understand where he is coming from..there is more to the story and this website situation is a facade that Ryan has moved on with his life with Dale, and while being involved with Chloe as an Uncle, Jeff will always be odd man out in that household. Its sad that its ending between them, but time heals all wounds..and things will only get better. Good luck to Ryan and his family..and Jeff and his. Heres to SEASON 4!

This was a sad episode to watch.

Andy, you were great. Very objective. Almost like their shrink.

What has hurt Jeff Lewis so deeply in his life to act like this?

Oh my gosh!! Jeff if you have a feeling in your heart then there is a reason. Go with your instinct! So sorry to see you lose your best friend. Great show and can't wait till next season.

Andy, Watching the reunion special was probably your BEST reunion special. I have always thought when you tone it down and let the guest really let things happen, its a much better show.

Ive never liked some of the truely idiotic questions and comments viewers have you read.

This season was the best of flipping out. I saw a totally different Jeff Lewis. When he laughed even if it was out of nerves it made him more human, and actually I rewound it several times because his laugh made me laugh.

I think you should do more interviews like you did tonight and forget the interviews you do for the cameras with catfights and booty calls.

Tonight you did a great job. Keep doing these type of reunion shows.

After watching the reunion I like Andy just want to cry. I love Jeff and Ryan so much and think they are both amazing people. I hope they will both find a way to let this anger go and remember that tomorrow is promised to no one. I lost my best friend earlier this year and I would give anything to have one more moment with him. Please make things right guys, you are both too special to let anything tear you apart. I wish you both Jeff and Ryan healing and love.

Best wishes,

Melody

Andy-Were you really nervous during the taping of the Flipping Out reunion? You were antsy, and fidgeted a lot...was curious if you were needing to do a no. 2 at Valley Oak, and knew you couldnt make the 50 second time limit. LOL Keep up the great work!

Andy, didn't know how to reach you via email - but I have a 'special episode' or special series suggestion:

You could call it "Flipping Millions." Play on words with the two shows...and "flipping" being a subtle quasi-swear word!

Have Jeff Lewis and the cast of Flipping Out do a real estate deal with the Million Dollar Listing guys...Madison, Chad & Josh. GREAT TV. Maybe make it an elimination challenge-who gets to purchase the perfect new "comeback flip" for Jeff, a race to perfection, if you will. Winner also gets to list it and gets the commission. You could completely orchestrate it into an new spinoff series, even. Maybe add in some element where not only do the three ingenues have to please Jeff, but maybe he has to run his interior design plans by the winner until they can agree; in other words, they give *HIM* design direction also, almost like a client would. Therefore the 'pleasing' goes both ways. And the ratings skyrocket!

And your commentary would make it sparkle. Perfectionists keeping up wit perfectionists' standards, I would tune in....glued to the TV, as would also my 11 year old.

We see the cowboy client (from Dallas) of Madison's everyday...from last season. Mr Bloom. Drinks Starbucks everyday with his surly identical twin where I live.

Hope you consider it! Thanks!
