Andy Cohen attends the star-studded gala benefit for the Hetrick Martin Institute.

Yes it is hump day and that is a glorious moment for someone. What'd you think of The Fashion Show? I want to hear it! Tonight is a really fun and special episode of Top Chef: Just Desserts featuring the surprise return of cake queen Sylvia Weinstock in a challenge twist that gets the chefs' panties in a triple bundle. It is heartwarming and also dramz.

Last night was the gala benefit for the Hetrick Martin Institute -- the folks behind the Harvey Milk School among other things. In this moment of intensified bullying and gay suicides, the night had a special resonance. It also was a glam affair featuring a lot of handsome gay dudes and a bunch of celebs. It was at Cipriani on Wall Street, original home of the New York Stock Exchange and more notably (haha) where we shot the Season 2 RHNYC reunion show.

We were sitting with Glee creator and king Ryan Murphy, who was celebrating his birthday AND was an honoree. Paying tribute to him was "Mr. Schuester" Matt Morrison, who was also at the table. I have known Matt since his Hairspray days and he is as nice as he is talented (very and very).  Everybody is so happy he is now a superstar -- he deserves it and has a lot more coming his way, including a new album next year.

Suzie Ormond paid tribute to Ariana Huffington and it is next to impossible to listen to her without hearing Kristin Wiig! And then Ariana Huffington spoke and all I could hear was Roseanne Roseannadanna! The divine Wendy Williams was the hostess of the evening and she was perfection. Our girl Bethenny led the auction and she was hilarious and ribald and said some superfunny stuff that might be too dirty to print on this blog, but essentially amounted to offering Jason as a sexual object to anyone who gave more than 5K.

I cried at the Glee montage (I am a crier) and Matt Morrison brought the house down singing "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" for Mr. Murphy.  Oh and Cheyenne Jackson was there looking great and shining his bright light. Oh and Ralph Lauren was one of the sponsors and so everybody got RL Holiday candles in their gift bags. It was a great event!
