After the reunion that its.. I regret watching it. Caroline just comes off as a person unable of telling the truth if it hit her in the face. She wanted to talk for everyone ...irritating! I guess no one could answer correctly so she felt she need to answer for them.

This team has turned me off from the show. 1 viewer is gone!

Incredible! The double standards of Caroline and her "sugar-would-melt-in-your-mouth" family are astounding. Her comment in response to family ties to organized crime says it all - it's ok for HER to defend her family (and herself) about things that have been said in the past - whether they are true or not, but when Danielle brought the book, in effect doing the same thing, (it was her past - Caroline, or Dina, didn't need to air everything to the town since they obviously didn't know all of the facts)THAT WAS A DIFFERENT STORY! I'm sick of the excuse that "we're Italian; blood is thicker than water, yada yada" - being Italian is no excuse for deplorable manners and TRASH MOUTHS (Theresa) - seems to have the F** word down pat. This family seems to personify every negative stereotype one might expect of a "Jersey" girl. The way they acted (Jacqueline excluded) - they should not be judging anyone else - look in your own backyard!

I thought the sisters were hypocrites in the reunion, the same way I thought they were, all throughout the show. They complain about what is done to them, but they did it to Danielle. Caroline to me is dumb. She talks too much and puts her foot in her mouth constantly. This show sucks because Jackeline doesn't want to speak up not to ruin her relationship with her in-law family, the sisters gang up even if their side is unreasonable, and now, I feel that Danielle is quiet, in respect of Jackeline, not to instigate anything else. If Caroline wants to lead by example she should try looking within. The men in this season are the real husbands, with good humor and humility, they showed how these sisters are catty, bossy, and trying to form this little "mafia" against Danielle, who has children, and whom you exposed on the show by exposing a book that was brought to your attention. I hope that all your step-father's mafia connections that led to his murder are all brought up to life now. Oh, how lovely would be to see your suffering on national TV. Then, would you learn and lead by example?

I absolutely loved the NJ Housewives reunion show. Caroline is the best. A strong loving woman..nothing better in the world. I am the same way. I love my family and nothing comes between them. Caroline should give Danielle a swift kick in the butt before it's all over. Much love to Theresa, Dina and Jacqueline too!

I have to agree with you that using the term "gay" can be very hurtful when used in the wrong way. I have learn that when someone says something like "that's so gay", the person is generally using the term "gay" as meaning "stupid". By switching these words around, it basically translates that gay people are stupid. There are many other examples of how the word can be used in such a way that it can hurt others whether they mean it or not. The same thing can happen with other words like "retarded". I think that many people don't stop to think about what they are really saying, and how it can affect others. I love Tressa on the show, but she still didn't seem to get the point. I just hope that one day other people understand, and I agree with you. Thanks for a great show!!

These women make us all look bad. I'm sorry that they are so very unhappy with their own lives that they need to attack each other the way they do.

I don't care what anybody says, this has got to be one of the best seasons of Housewives. You have to understand that this was their first season and although I was skeptical I really enjoyed all of the women (except Danielle!!!!). They seem to be "real" people with "real" situations going on in their lives. Ok, let's talk about Danielle...I am just about over her and her made up drama! She was jealous of Dena from day one and she is the type of female that demands attention at all times. And the bond that they had before she came along was thicker than blood and she couldn't handle it. I would say boot her off the show, but then where would the real drama come from if she weren't there....

Oh God - please DO NOT give Theresa her own show.

I hope Teresa and joe will have to deal with the future child being gay. It might open there eyes to understanding what is said in jest is still spiteful and mean spirited. Words have caused hundreds of gay people to be killed because what previous generations have taught to be "acceptable" words in society. As a gay man, I'd never wish that on anyone, but love who I am. I do believe that Teresa and Joe might be able to learn a valuable lesson.

I am a little offended by your comment regarding Joe and his gay comment - I am a gay man and I would and have said that things are so gay, and as a gay man you have said the same thing. But I am also so you can said, that is so Ghetto, or that is a Chelsea thing or whatever it is - I am so tired of gay men and women making a big deal out of every single thing that they assume is offensive. That man is an Italian American who lives his life his brother in law is a queen - his life is his life. I mean give me a break. I am truly annoyed.

I think everyone who has jumped on the band wagon that Theresa's husband was offensive should examine themselves before passing judgement. It was definately insensitive, how many viewers have called something inferior, or tacky, less than desirable soo ghetto, or that's ghetto. It is the same insensitvity that our society uses on a regular basis. It isn't until it reaches home sometimes that we find ourselves offended. We all should choose our words wisely, and be SENSITIVE to each other. So, if you have used the N word, honkey, red neck, bam ma, ghetto, gay, etc. to describe a less than desirable indiviual, situation etc. you are as guilty.

The questin for Theresa's husband was it done in to hurt someone, which I don't believe he did. I think with the response he has been educated and will be more sensitive. Let's not always be overally sensitive and offended, but we can not condone or appreciate a comment and educate the indvidual that it is not acceptable or it is hurtful.

The Jersey girls are absolutely amazing!! The family connection especially being Italian is classic North Jersey and I can completely relate! I truly hope this is not the last we see of our Jersey girls! It's so nice to see people on TV we, Jersey girls, can relate to.

NJ housewives was the BEST, it was real and I really loved Caroline, Atlanta housewives would be next, liza thoughts she can keep to herself

Andy, kudos to you. The NY housewives were laughably petty but this group of cats could shank you in an unguarded moment! Honestly these ladies are much more real than any of the other housewives (OC, NY or Atlanta - are there any more?). I know women like this and they are well intentioned, very rough diamonds who will never see a polishing cloth.

Andy, I was surprised that you said 'sister-in-laws' on the New Jersey Housewives Reunion. The NJ ladies have been saying this incorrectly for the entire season and then you followed with the same. It's 'sisters-in-law'. This seems to be a common 'Americanism' that needs to be corrected. Bottom line - poor English!

Hello, its TV, entertainment ya know? If you werent watching this you would be watching some major network crap, get off your pious high horse and see it for what it is. . a view into some crazy people's lives and for some of us, a chuckle or two. Go hug a tree or change to the discovery channel if you want to save the world via television.

How embarrassing for these people. I cringed watching this. Such petty drama and foolishnish between what looks like "mature" adults. Our financial system has crashed our housing market has sunk. There are people starving in different parts of the world. Growing amounts of homelessness. Shame on you ladies how embarssing for you. As an Italian American myself in this day and age your behavior was ridiculous and embarssing.

I wish i had the balls Danielle had to stand up to people, i would have waited till dinner was almost over to confront them.. Hats off to the Men they seemed to have compassion for her. A divorced woman is definately ostrastized among her peers!!

hey andy danielle knows that she was lying about the book. she said only 2 things that were true. why didn't she tell ladies at dinner that she was a stripper. she told her daughters. if she want to maintain that lavish life style. she need to hit the pole or start and escort services. no need to be calling and whinin to no man for money. show that u can do the damn thing on your own. i have to hold it down everyday for mine.

Andy - you rock! I just watched a clip where you called out Teresa's husband for making the gay remarks and you stated it was indeed offensive to gay people, no matter what the intention behind it. Well done!

I had a great time watching this season....And I must say that I think Teresa's husband Joe is so adorable. He's like a big teddy bear with a great smile, so what if he's a little old school. I think he said the nicest thing to his wife, "I get angry thinking of all the money you spend, and then I think of how you take care of these 3 rugrats all day". "A happy wife, a happy life". I tried to watch the show without bias, but when Danielle commented on how Joe should act I wanted to knock her out. She should learn how to act, and she is way too serious about everything. She is the perfect example of someone with a stick up their a**.

Love you. The NJ Housewives mob connection -- they are part of the mob. They are deceitful, lying, calculating, no class women that totally entertain. Every Thursday after golf - the girls gather to lunch and discuss the bravo shows. We are just amazed by each group of housewives. How do you find these groups of women? I have run into a few new money women that I would not call ladies but you find groups of these women. We are in awe and entertained but please do not let them near LA.

I HAVE ENJOYED THE HOUSEWIVES OF ATLANTA AND NEW YORK, BUT THE ONES FROM NJ I THINK ARE EMBARRASING. NOT ONCE THEY WERE SHOWN TALKING ABOUT CHARITIES OR DOING THINGS FOR OTHERS.

I have watched all of the Housewives shows, Love, love, love New York....but Jersey is a hit.......can't wait for more drama and is there going to be any new additions to the cast next season???

I did like housewives of O.C. and N.Y.
I gotta say these girls suck!
There is nothing good about them I can't see how they could think we would like them.
One...they do not do anything! I.E. GIVE BACK,VOLUNTEER,HELP OTHERS.
This show SUCKS!
Time to call it quits and send these girls on there way!!!

I do have one question though for Danielle: When Danielle walked in, she had a little purse with her, not big enough to carry the book she pulled from under the table. WHERE DID SHE GET THE BOOK?

Andy, you do such a good job with all the housewife shows as a host you really have a lot of patience. Keep up the good work Andy, my favorite Bravo guy....

Although things have changed quite a bit in "new language" some of the 'old language" is still around and is definitely not correct for todays time. So yes the 'gay' comment was not maybe appropriate but Teresa isn't wrong when you say Joe didn't mean to hurt by it. I spent 40 yrs growing up in the Jersey area and know the Brownstone, Franklin Lakes, etc well. I just viewed your blog and understand you agreeing with Danielle that you took offense and yes your statement was right - should you weigh in? But more importantly you can agree with Danielle but do you agree with the way she handled it. On the phone and mouthing comments to Joe - and then the slap in the face to Teresa with the comment about don't talk to me like that I am not your wife. As the host, I think you should have said I personally took offense to the comment and perhaps Joe meant nothing malicious by it but perhaps he should re look at 'old language habits." And to Danielle: I will follow that up with Danielle do you think your response to Joe about Teresa status as your wife was appropriate. Hmmm

I just hope you address how Teresa and her "Sopranos" family can talk about her humping her husband with the kids in the room but act Danielle is the only inappropriate.

They act like their saints compared to Danielle and they've behaved ( with the exception of Jackie ) like anything but. They really are laughable.

Congratulations for been such a star in the housewives shows, particularly the New Jersey ones, I think the girls were great movie stars, beautiful and talented so were the children.
I am sorry for Danielle girls to be exposed to such dirt from their mother life. it was very insensitive from Danielle to bring them to the so called "BOOK" that I guess by now is a new york best seller, does she get a percentage from her ex?

NYC Prep is one reality show I won't be watching. Who wants to see a bunch of spoiled kids with no morals, no boundries, no appreciation for what they have run amok and break the law by drinking and hanging out in bars and God knows what? Ya, just what our kids need to see on television. Ridiculous. In what culture is this ok for kids to act & behave? Where the heck are the parents? Shame, shame.

Even though I don't watch "Gossip Girls," I'm going to give "NYC Prep" a try. The commercials look good, so I'm interested to see if I will get invested in the show.

Let me echo my fellow commentor and offer my congrats on your new talk show gig on Bravo. It sounds like such a great idea, and I am looking forward to it.

I love the way you engage each of these women in every show that you have done, great job! My only comments are, where on earth did the "book" come from when Danielle came in only with a clutch and if Danielle did not want her life exposed on national television, why on earth did she do the show?? Well, we all know why, exposure plain and simple. She does seem to like to be exposed in one way or another doesn't she?

Could you please address how Danielle got the book to the table? She didn't walk in w/ it because only her purse was in her hand. Did the producers put it there prior to the dinner?
