Re: the "Fake Housewives from Nowhere," do the producers think we didn't notice that Danielle entered the restaurant with a purse that was TOO SMALL to contain the book in question? Production obviously planted it in the restaurant (a restaurant OWNED by the Manzo brothers, by the way). That was the phoniest, most heavily-scripted episode yet. The husbands weren't even good enough actors to convincingly play along with the "surprise" altercation. Bravo is certainly lucky that we are living in an age of incredibly gullible viewers.

I agree with the viewer about Bethenny--she seems to be a meteor bright in the sky, but in danger of quickly burning up. She seems to be just like the hollywood starlets who get so wrapped up in their fame that they implode. She's just a few drinks away from being another Lindsay.

Andy,
Speidi, Bethenny Frankel and Kate of Jon and Kate are from the same mold.
They are infamous for being on pseudo reality shows and believe that makes them celebrities.
They are not displaying any talent (please Bethenny put together a book of recipes-boy that is talent?)
In a few years-hopefully sooner than later they will disappear - with the millions they made off of the gullible. Bethenny will never marry, Kate will be divorced and her children living with Jon, Speidi will be living in a homeless shelter because they won't have been smart enough to have saved any money.
They will all have very sad endings because they believe they are famous and have something to offer society. But they do not.

You looked very nice on the today show.
I loved that Al Roker (finally someone) called out Heidi and Spencer.
I do think that Bethenny is only one ego trip away from Speidi- she will be the next to be called out for her huge inflated ego.
I saw her on an am chicago tv show today and boy is she obnoxious.
Making fun of people who live in the midwest is not the right thing to do when you are trying to promote your book in the midwest.
She is just another Speidi-on her 11th min. of fame.

Hi Andy - I caught you on the today show this morning (061609) and had to comment. I thought that you provided some great insight on Speidi but was a little disappointed at your jabs on Jon and Kate (specifically Kate). I’ve followed that show since the beginning and do think that Kate has been getting a raw deal. As for the emasculating, if you watched the show her comments may have been a little short with him but I don’t think she was out of line for a mother of 8 that was simply asking her husband to help her a little more. Too often women get a bad rap for their tone when if you listen to her request she really wasn’t that out of line. Jon has always played a back role in their relationship and never really seemed to step up and offer her the assistance that she needed and now that he seems to be backing out completely people are still blaming her instead of calling him out on his BS! This man is pathetic and in no way acting like a father to 8 kids. I don’t think that Kate or her “backward mullet” are to blame for this for the fact that he has pretty much deserted his family. If he was a real man then we would see her out and about on her own and him stuck with the kids. The only time we see Kate away from the kids is when she’s promoting the book, whereas Jon seems to bail out whenever he feels like it (including when it’s the kids birthdays!).
Anyway … I just felt the need to comment. I typically totally agree with your comments and was a little disappointed to see you just ride a bandwagon and make the comments that the rest of the tabloids were making. I guess I considered you to be above the fray on that one.
Sorry for the wordiness. I guess I'm just a big fan and was bummed that we didn't see eye to eye on this one.

andy why those italian ladies(the new jersey housewifes) are so meant to the lady who was in jail ,they are horrible they think they are better than her shame on them thanks .

I love the Real Housewives Show, however I am a real housewife of a different kind and my life isn't glamorous at all. I watch the show and wonder if I am the only real housewife who has to clean bathrooms, do laundry, wash dishes, cook and fall into the bed at 10:30 praying that my hubby is already asleep because I am too tired to get frisky. LOL I would love to be able to treat myself to a spa day with my girlfriends or sisters but I guess the housewife Gods forgot about me. LOL I like them all, well except Kelly. The Jersey wives crack me up, maybe they can send a prayer out to the Housewife Gods for me. LOL Don't get me wrong, I have a hard working, loving, and great hubby and 2 wonderful kids but I sure would like to experience life with a little financial freedom like theirs, keep up the good job, make young girls know what to work for and how to achieve it!

Who was your favorite and how did you feel about all the drama? Also, we learned Jacqueline was having issues with getting pregnant then she has a baby. Andy, did you destroy all your nude shots? Perez is on a roll. Dustin did not need that, but we know how vindictive ex'es can be, especially with an AXE to grind. I did see the pics on another site, before I realized it was a spawn of Dustin's ex and Perez's revenge. Saw the Speidi crap on the Veiw today..they need to go away and return the 15 mins of fame that they never deserved. What an embarrasment, but NBC probably knew of that train wreck when they signed them to the show.

Al Roker did his best with "Speidi"~YUCK! They are exactly what NOT to aspire too. Al was a hoot with them!

I gave up totally on Perez~his site makes TMZ look like the Wall Street Journal. One would THINK Perez should have a line. Karma, Perez...karma.

Think the ladies of the View watched Al also as they were a bit tough at times on Speidi. Whoppi was training her eyeballs to not roll backwards! Time for them to go away...forever. You will lose this Bravo/Andy fan if they EVER appear on Bravo. You hopefully, have too much class!

And good for you for Perez. I actually stopped daily looks at his blogs 'cause he is just mean spirited. "slut" references to 16 yr old Miley C, fat references when he is/was..love the gossip, not from someone like that.

Perez is out of his mind, but I must say those pictures looked great and reflect well on gay men in general. I mean, I'd rather see that than most of the celebrity sex tapes that get "leaked" to the web.

I forgot to record the Today Show, so I will miss Bethenny's show. I know she will be good. Love her in New Now Next Award.

As usually love your blog. LOVE LOVE the housewives and want to see more of the current ones.
