I am so upset about Oprah that I am on a JAL flight outta here to escape the news in the South Pacific Seas, which is what, I guess, we all must do when faced with an Oprah-less moment. I know she'll relaunch a show but this, to me, is the One. Oh who knows. Anyway, I am leaving and going far enough away that I think there's a chance that my BlackBerry won't function. That would be nice, but is it not OK to Tweet during one's vacation, or is that frowned upon? Last night was fun with Jeana and Vicki. We will post some Web extras (in which Vicki got hammered -- with questions, not booze) later. So the other day they were putting the star up on the Christmas tree and I freaked out, grabbed Anthony while he grabbed his video camera, and did a commentary on the situation outside using my reserve of zero knowledge of what I was speaking. The results are clueless and spellbindingly boring, yet oddly raw and melancholy. One thing I speculated on was why they chopped a tree during green week, and I half knew there'd be an amazing answer. Guess what? There is: the wood is being used by Habitat for Humanity to build houses. Or a village. Or houses in a village. Anyway you cannot dispute the goodness glowing from the tree....

Surpirse we haven't seen a show about titled "San Franisco Gay's Housewives" featuring the over top couples. Dwayne of ALT Housewives would be a great additonal to that cast.

Hi Andy, Thanks so much for showing the putting up of the star on the tree. It's always been a tradition of mine to go see the tree with my wife and family every year, then we go have dinner n such. This year will have an extra bonus when I see the tree from seeing your video. Thanks again.

I'm from Fayetteville, AR and I've actually had "housewives party events" at my house to watch the festivities! You and Bravo have done a fabulous job of capturing real life in a fun, fashionable, realistic kind-of-way that makes life just love juiciness!! Your articulation is fantastic and suberb and not not mention sexy! Keep on bringing it and if you ever want to check out the housewives of NW Arkansas......... well, let's just say that there are a few of us that could keep up. I for one am so much like a Kim Zolciak. I'm dating a huge nation-wide beer distributor, entrepreneur, like Big Poppa! There is huge money in the NW Arkansas area! It is one of the biggest players of wealth in the world but probably not one of the most glamorous, however, if you checked us out you would find that there are fabulous women with fabulous bank accounts that would show otherwise. I'm sure BRAVO could do the rest!
No matter what, just wanted to send this and say that we women in the area have enjoyed your footage and keep up your fantastic coverage of the fun and entertaining encounters of the housewives of orange county, new jersey, new york, atlanta and beyond. Floored by all of the negative viewer mail you get. If they don't like your shows, they should turn the channel. And BTW, Jeff Lewis is awesome.

Andy,

Really, you need to get that window fixed. Every single time you open it, it gets STUCK! And I worry that you make Anthony get up there and get it unstuck. And that someday he might slip and hurt himself.

And the Salvation Army out a week before Thanksgiving even? Too much--I agree.

: 11/20/2009 - 4:29pm; mmc; Hi Andy, Loved the video.That star is impressive. you have the best view, however please put a screen on the window.I was having a fit watching you lean.It was nice to see the tree, but time is going too fast and I'm not ready for the holidays.Give something to the Salvation Army, there are so many people who are needy this year.I hope they don't have a problem with gays.They're supposed to help people not care about their sexual orientation.Good people come in all sorts of packages.And you're a GOOD PEOPLE!
