It is pouring like I don't know what. Pouring like a hellcat, is what it is. I have a nutty day including a presentation for which I need to cram as soon as I stop me bloggin. I woke up at 6 am to box this morning, which is making me feel great right now, but I am wondering at what point I am going to be ready for a nap.
Kind of a bummer elimination on Top Chef last night, eh? At this point we won't be happy to see any of the finalists go. Next week Padma rocks a bikini, and there's absolutely not a thing wrong with that! The craft service by the way in the Bahamas was probably the best we've ever had. I shot some stuff of us eating a midnight snack on finale night and will post it soon.
There's a great profile of Top Chef Season 2 finalist Sam Talbot in today's NYT Style Section. I am happy he's such a superstar.
I was psyched to read that HBO is making Game Change into a film, and that Julianne Moore is playing Sarah Palin. If you haven't read the book, it is a page turner. It's like a political soap opera. Speaking of which, I do not know what to make of the Salahi news regarding Celebrity Rehab, but I can be sure there are about eight or eighteen sides to that particular story. I would enjoy hearing them all.
I feel like I have totally missed out on American Idol this season and will just wind up skipping the whole thing. I am, though, engrossed in rough cuts of Platinum Hit. I know that's a shameless plug, but at times I can be quite shameless. You know that.
And that is a good segue -- Don't forget tomorrow morning it is yours truly co-hosting with Kelly Ripa on Live with Regis and Kelly and our guests will be Aaron Eckhart and John Leguizamo. Check us out!
Andy I just Love you!! I love watching the (all) the house wives BUT you are my favorite! You are handsome-you are funny-you are hot-tall-cute-gorgeous smile-damn why wasn't I born a man-LOL-then I would be on you like white rice HONEY-please stay don't ever go! Hug's & Kiss's from Florida keep dry honey it's not over yet, but summer is coming.
I totally agree with you, Andy, it was very saddening to see Carla go on Top Chef last night. She is such a positive, kind and caring person and I so enjoyed her "cooking with love" attitude. Will miss her.
Andy, You're everywhere!I'm looking forward to you hosting with Kelly. I heard Hoda say you'll be hosting with her one day next week.Plus your WWHL and the reunion shows and all the rest of your work at Bravo and all your traveling. And your personal life.how do you do it all?You must have a few clones running around some where! And you're so happy! Oh I'm loving you....you are an amazing man!!!!!!
Love and prayers going out to all effected by the pacific earthquake and Tsunami. Real Housewife of DC Catherine Ommanney has family in Tokyo our thoughts and love go to her as well as everyone.
Andy you were great on Regis & Kelly now I would watch every day if you took over Regis's spot, when he goes!! Comer on you did greaT! lOVE YOU aNDY WISH YOU WERE STRAIGHT,THEN WE COULD HOOK UP! LOL Love ya stay here on the east coast california is not too safe right now!
Yes, it was sort of sad to see Carla leave. She was a true lady in her comments: very introspective. However, I must disagree with your assessment that it would be hard to see the remaining chefs get eliminated. I could do without "Gasbag Mike" and Ms. Mediocrity, Tiffany depart. They each are annoying (for different reasons). If either of them is crowned the winner, it would be very unsatisfying.
Loved loved loved you on Regis and Kelly this morning. You could step into Regis's place. With all your energy it would be fantastic to watch you and Kelly every morning with the ole coffee.
Andy, I so SOOO hope you will host and produce LIVE! WITH ANDY AND KELLY. You would bring so much to the show in addition to your dynamic personality!
Mawwy me, Andy!
"Andy's Clubhouse" should be a nightly feature. Who needs the evening news? I have CNN.com!
Andy I tried watching you on w/ Kelly on LIVE on Friday, but they didnt air here it here! All the normal programming was taken over by news coverage of the tsunami. How can I check it out? BTW we love you here in Cali Andy!
I'm tempted to stop watching the show since they voted Carla out. She brought a great energy and "kindness" to the show. She didn't criticize and trash the other contestants in a way that all the others did. She pitched in and helped the others all the time and supported them when they needed it. She had a calming force on all of the other contestants. It was nice to see someone like her and not some who are/were cut throat. She is all about love and it shows. Although Mike is talented he did steal Richard's recipe - it would be a crime shoudl he win top chef.
I registered today to ask a question about the Top Chef Target episode. (a bit late, I know) Were the propane canisters and camping stoves not available to the chefs?
