Tonight Joe Jonas joins us on Top Chef to -- among other things -- prove why he's the hottest JoBro in all the galaxy. (I am indeed sure he does prove that point even though I am pretty sure he didn't mean to.). Also returning to Top Chef tonight as a guest judge is Season 1 host Katie Lee! It's always great to see her and we loved having her back on TC.
And as if all that isn't enough, let me tell you that there is a shocker at Judges' Table (already -- in Episode 2) that is going to rock your world. Don't miss the last five minutes of the show, is all I will say.
Speaking of Top Chef, and I always am in one way or another, last night I took my pals Amanda and Graciela to Harold Dieterle's new restaurant (now he has two!), Kin Shop at 469 6th Avenue between 11th and 12th Street. The place was packed and the Thai food is spicy and great. We tried almost everything on the menu. Harold is such a great guy, and has done Top Chef proud by succeeding at everything he's done since winning the first season. And he's married now!
I am trying to rest up for next week's week-long Watch What Happens Live stunt, but I am not that great at resting. I hope you like Top Chef tonight!
How in the hell did Jen when she is right and the judges wrong? Kids and parents definitely liked the meat dishes better by the long line. Furthermore Jamie was not even there so she should have been the one to go home. So it is better to cut your self and be away so you do not get eliminated? BULL! Worse decision ever!
Hated it!! The worst Top Chef EVER!! No way should Jen have gone home. Jamie should have gone home for wimping out! She wasn't even bleeding when she went for 2 stitches. This has ruined Top Chef for me. Clearly the judges don't like being yelled at regardless of what Tom said. I have watched from Season 1 but this ends it for me.
OMG I knew it was going to be her .................grrrrr why not Jamie with her 2 stitch cut finger [sorry Jamie] How about Jen on WWHL? and it was so sad with her dad's 2nd place comment.. wow I still can't believe it Her talking back to the judges, I thought for sure that did her in, I did like Tom's comment that they chefs can say what they want the food speaks for itself
Its sad. but I will still watch, I will still there watching and try [like always] to figure out who will be eliminated!
I'm sorry that Jamie didn't go home, but Jen's attitude was truly disgusting. I get that because of her dad losing is difficult for her, but if it's such a problem, she shouldn't have gone on a cooking competition....especially a televised one! Perhaps she wanted to show people how NOT to behave when one loses. If so, she did an excellent job!
