I have a really fun little video to share with you today, but first will you just let me know your initial thoughts on Top Chef Masters??? And also let me remind you that there's a brand new episode of The Fashion Show at 10 EST.
At 9 EST, it's the unseen footage from Season 4 of The Real Housewives of Orange County including a reunion WHOMPER that happened between Gretchen and Tamra during a break. How'd we leave that one out of the reunion? (This is what happens when you only have 44 minutes for a reunion and everybody's fired up for six hours!)
Anyhow, (I love the word "anyhow" because it makes me sound quite dumb), OC's Vicki and her daughter Briana stopped by my office on Tuesday and the interns were SO excited to meet her that I made up a little show that would get them up close and personal with the Woo-Hoo'er ... Check it out:

I'd like to see the results of the following poll:
Who is the worst boss: Vicki from The Real Housewives or Jeff Lewis from Flipping out?
Who is more nuts? It's a fine line but I think Vicki is off the charts. I'd rather work for Jeff.

Hi Andy,
Honestly, I don't know how you do it?
The interviews with all of them seem so gut wrenching...
It's like walking in to a lion's den every time you sit down in that chair.

I caught up on TCM this weekend and I was disappointed. I understand the concept and idea but I think a little more development is needed. Elizabeth got it right when she said "We were meaner when we were judges." I loved the Quickfire and Elimination Challenges but to me it does not feel genuine. When I hear Top Chef I think fast thinking, sweating, fanstatic creations, sometimes a mistake or two. And then there is Judges Table.... but now with Masters ?!?!?!?! Total disappointment, just because they are established chefs they should not be treated with kid gloves. Its TC afterall.

Will you please tell us what happened to Quinn and Tammy from the Real Housewives of Orange County? Why were they not back on the show this year?

I was shocked that someone said Bravo should stop doing the Orange County housewives. None of the other ones hold a candle to that one! Second comes the Houswives from NYC. I certainly could do without the ones from Atlanta and the Ones from New Jersey. I was for the first time kind of disappointed in you and that's when you on the lost footage encouraged Tamra with her barage of insults. Sorry but Tamra is way, way out of line and it had nothing to do with the show so none of that should have been allowed to be shown. Sorry but it was a bull crap by Tamra that is the reason she was so made at Gretchen to the point of near violence. The whole truth and nothing but the truth is that it's Tamra's insane jealousy of Gretchen that is causing these overboard rages and downright slander. I have no use for her. I hope that Jeana does come back of the fighting on the show will get out of line without her calming things down and it might make the show too difficult to watch if there's no one to tame Tamra down.

Great interview.. Love how you let the interns ask questions. They all had great questions. What a matchmaker you are, Andy!! ha-ha.. did Brian have a date? With whom??
And, by the way, Chef Masters seems very good thus far.. Can't wait to see more episodes.

Loved Top Chef Masters. Missed the actual show because I was out of town.
Laughed out loud while watching. The chefs are great and performed exceptionally well. One can see why they are top chef masters.
Really great show. Better even than Top Chef.

Hi Andy,
I really enjoyed Top Chef Masters. However, you must turn down Kelly Choi's microphone or tell her to stop yelling! It sounded like she was shouting everything. Fashion Show is growing on me but Kelly Rowland adds nothing to it and I find her comments annoying. I think you would be better served with a host who is in fashion in some capacity.

Andy,
I honestly thought when I heard there would be a NJ housewife show that is would be about tacky uneducated women.
Imagine my surprise that the show that is about tacky women now is the NY housewives.
The NJ women are real and so sweet with their kids and families.
They eve. revolve around family activities and not about going out to get photographed.
WE need more Bravo shows like the NJ wives.
It is a show that makes you feel great watching instead of like the NY housewives where you watch only to make fun of the women.

Andy,
I love the NJ housewives. I hope in the second season they don't become like the OC and the NY housewives who actually think they have become celebrities.
I hope they don't sell out their families for fame (as fleeting as it is) like Jill has done.
Bethenny always has been a media hound and I guess perhaps Jill as well because she certainly became full of herself in a short period of time.
The NJ housewives seem to understand what is important in life and that is family. I personally think that makes for good TV- I don't think the back stabbing and meaness they have in NY is necessary for good TV.
I wish the NY housewives wouldn't have become so obnoxious because it was a pretty good show in season one.
But now they are all so self absorbed it is boring.
I love that NJ wives put their kids first and don't feel the need to go out every night and leave their families at home.

Did the housewives of atlanta not get picked up for another season? They are the best besides NYC and Jersey to watch. The Oc should be cancelled they are so fake and boring.

Andy...I loved TCM. Although the format was a little different than what we are used to, and I think it is very intersting to see how the Cheftestants react to such crazy situations.

Hi Andy
I must agree with today's first commentator "viewer". The OC women have the worst style. Animal prints, flowing chiffon, kohl-rimmed eyes with burnt frazzled hair. Hair that they were offered help with on Shear Genius. Help they REFUSED.
The New York cast on the other hand rarely misses in their style choices. They look years younger than they are and the OC girls look years older. It is an amazing contrast.

Hey Andy, I love Top Chef Masters however working for The Ritz Carlton Boston for 18 yrs may be the reason. I like the fact that they not all younger people. Working with chefs for as long as I did I am sure there will be no loss for drama as every chef I worked with always thought they were the best. With that said I really like The Fashion Show Issiac and Kelly are great but I do not like all the drama between the designers. Its great on Top Chef and Real Housewives however, in real life I doubt someone like Vera Wang or Norma Camalli would act that way. I know it makes for a great show from your perspective but I find the cattyness to be a bit unrealistic for artistic people like clothing designers

Andy,
I enjoyed Top Chef Masters, but I think the second half will be even better when we get to know the chefs and their personalities even more. It's a good show to tide us over until the actual Top Chef!

PS I'm with the others who just can't get into The Fashion Show. I feel like I'm in a dark, dreary room compared to PR with Tim and Heidi.

Cooking in a dorm room?!? HA! I love it. "Top Chef: Masters" definitely did not disappoint. After a hot-and-cold season five, "Top Chef" is back and it's blazing hot!
It's good to see Vicki and Briana again, and I'm looking forward to seeing the lost moments of the O.C housewives tonight.

Hi ~ I really, and I mean really, enjoyed the Top Chef Masters show last night! It was great meeting chefs I've never heard of before and seeing someone from one of the first Top Chef shows. It's fun seeing the pro's sweat out doing what they're famous for. Looking forward to the series to play out.
I've got to tell you how hard I've tried to like The Fashion Show and I've haven't missed any of the episodes but it is not worth watching much more. It's such a poorly executed program I don't even care who continues on or who wins. It's a drag. The fabrics always look like they are from a warehouse close out and the lighting is atrocious. There's no encouragement or kind words to the designers, just snarky comments. And who cares which is the best one to reproduce to sell on Bravo.com? Most of the time it isn't even the best designed or looking outfit. It's such a poor distant step cousin to the standards PR established. I kept hoping it would get better after the first few shows and the bugs got worked out but it's entrenched in it's ways. Sad.

Well done on Top Chef Masters!! A great "filler" for us top chef fan-atics. Loved the chef's themselves...the judges were also really interesting. And great idea to go back to challenges from seasons pasts! There were some good ones, and omg, you MUST be running out of ideas! Good job Bravo crew. Really enjoyed and am sharing with others to watch!

Andy,
You should have called Bethenny down to your office with Vicki there- two divas in one room it would have been hillarious to see who could talk the most and then sulk because one got more attention than the other.

Andy,
OMG Leopard print on Vicki. I couldn't bear watching the video I didn't want my day to be ruined.
what is it with women in their 50's still wearing animal print-?
Your poor thing having to deal with Vicki- I hope she didn't stay for long.
Vicki should be on prozac so that they people who come in contact with her don't have to be on prozac.
