Only in NY would a man open up the window, notice a lack of people and then comment that it was cocktail time! I love it!!! I think you have taken Bravo in a wonderful direction. Love the Housewives. They are my guilty little pleasure on t.v.

I was appalled at the behavior during the reunion shows. Even by the very low standards set during the season, it was over the top. They truly are shameless and mean-spirited. I watched this show as a guilty pleasure but after watching the offensive free-for-all, I am definitely not going to reward/support them anymore by watching the next season,if there is one. Trying to pick a favorite among these harpies is ridiculous. They are role models for how not to behave under any given circumstance. They are an embarassment to decent, honest, loyal, hard working women everywhere. And by the way, dahling, Luann is the biggest phony and hypocrite of them all.

Love all of the shows, NYC my favorite. I'm from NJ and am a little afraid of what's too come - SAPRANOS??? There are wives of color in all of these states, not just ATL, why haven't we seen more of a diverse cast?

Andy, all the locations for the "Real Housewives" have had some natural element: gold apples for NYC, gold peaches for Atlanta, gold oranges for CA. Since New Jersey is the "Garden State," why not diamond or crystal flowers for all the women to hold?

Can we vote off Kelly? I'm not sure what she is taking, but it doesn't make her interesting. Faux tears, oh my!

Thought it was ridiculous the way Jill and Bethenny got soft-pedaled at the reunion. The viewer questions asked were so inane. "Can you have it all, Bethenny'? "Is the economy your fault, Jill"? There were no pointed questions for them? What a crock. Particularly ridiculous was the tribute to Gloria, who has only seemed critical and complaining.

Andy:

The show was entertaining but at times very frustrating because Jill, Ramona, Luanne, and Bethenny kept talking over others. Alex and Kelly were the only two that showed any sense of decorum. As a host you really should have controlled those attack dogs. It was embarrassing to see grown women behave that way. I thought it was funny that Bethenny chose to wear a green dress because she appears to be so envious of Kelly. And Luanne, can someone please explain to her that she was not born into royalty. Why would Luanne even want the title after her husband dumped her via email? It was also incredible to me that Jill, Ramona, Luanne and Bethenny have such a double standard. It seemed it was acceptable for Luanne to say that her marriage façade was personal and private but it was not acceptable to them that Kelly said it was nobody’s business if she dated Max or not. Goes to show you that no matter how much money you have, or how renowned you are or even if you have a title, that those things do not equal refinement.

Andy, Andy, Andy... you had to know what was coming, look at how the couch was seated. I like this arrangement as the Jill, Bethenny, Luann couch is definately my favorite. I think these girls are honest and true to who they are and really do not enjoy the hurtful drama, just a little fun drama. There is a difference and I dont think Ramona knows the difference. The only possibility to move to the "good" couch would be Alex. She really tried to remain neutral. Thanks for a great season, I cant wait for another.

After watching the NY reunion show, I've concluded that the only diffrence between the Jerry Springer show and NY house wives is that the housewives dress better.

Oh, and can I borrow the HBO dvds? I'll return them after I watch everything. Thanks!

Soooooo, I guess fame = shame. It was embarrasssssing to watch grown women act so immature...such a collection of dysfunction... I watch the show for pure entertainment-but parts of it were painful to watch-and I for one feel like none of these women represent any housewife I know-more like high school.

The most shallow self -serving back -stabbing group of women I have have witnessed. ('Don't watch the other House wife shows..... ) These women are so pathetically misguided if they honestly think they have an ounce of class. Kelly may be an air-head but she doesn't have the vicious-ness of Bethany, Luann and Jill. They couldn't possibly be so stupid that they can't see what they look like?! Why would anyone allow themselves to be seen in this way???

Andy, as another poster pointed out, if we missed the airing of the A-List awards, it seems like there's no chance to see it. Why can't they rerun that the way everything else is rerun? I'm sure if they showed it again, even those that already saw it would watch it again. I want to see it! Please help!! :)

Also, thanks for not cutting the NYC Housewives Reunion down to one hour. It was a blast! I'd have watched the whole thing if all of it was aired.

Looking forward to watching the NJ Housewives. I can tell already they are going to be a blast! As much as I love Jill and Bethenney, this may become my new favorite. Dina's "last year's Versace" line was hilarious! Theresa is a riot too! And Caroline is badass! She's the rock that anchors the whole family.

Loved the reunion and think the ladies are fabulous. However I don't think Kelly fits in with these women. She's insulting and inconsiderate to the other ladies. She doesn't know what she's saying when she tried to make a point and said to Bethanny your burnette and I'm Blonde, she doesn't even know what color her hair is. Thank god she's not blonde she would give us a bad reputation as a typical dumb blonde. Listening to her gives me a headache. I think she should be replaced

Plleeeaaasssseeee get rid of Kelly next season. She brought absolutely nothing to this show. She is ditzy and a real bore. Whenever the segment moved to her, I would often change channels. How old is this woman, 41? She acts and talks like a teenager. She is rude and not at all interesting.

Kelly is so ridiculous, i really can NOT stand it when she opens her mouth. She makes NO sense at all. She needs a reality check and some therapy. Bethany and Jill you are awesome.

Maybe I am missing something but Kelly makes no sense . Watched all shows and felt like she was on another show but showed up at the wrong set.

Way to go Alex and Luann !!!!!!!

Can't wait for next season without Kelly and Mario .

Hi Andy~ Kudos to you for hanging with these women- tough bunch to manage no doubt. Really enjoyed your commentary.

Add me to the list of "riduculously addicted" to these NYC Housewives, love them all for all their unique qualities (except Kelly of course- boring, annoying and beyond rude- PLEASE get rid of her.)

LOVE Bethenny the most- ever since she was on "The Apprentice" - can't say enough wonderful things about her. And love the Bethenny/Jill coalition.

So it sounds like there will be a 3rd season, from what I'm reading? I HOPE SO...any idea when it will air?

Thanks so much for bringing this bunch (except Kelly) to us!!!

I like Kelly. She's sweet and more naturally refined than the rest of them (Alex not included). (Maybe the rest are envious?) And, the NYC cast showed their ignorant manner by the way they treated her as she joined the show as the new Housewife. Kelly was nothing but nice to them ALL! And, Ramona, Countess, Jill, and Bethenny should be ashamed of themselves. These girls think that as long as the word "charity" is inserted in a sentence.. they can then act any way and do anything to each other. They can't even be charitable to a new girl on the block.
Hell, it's easy to understand why Kelly might be tongue tied trying to explain what happened between her and Bethenny. But, Andy.. why didn't the network show what really happened between Kelly and Bethenny? And, help the truth come out? Instead.. they helped malign Kelly. And, I think it's unfair. If you really watch the show.. then you know it didn't go down like Bethenny et al likes to portray. 1) Bethenny (while in the pool at Jill's house) when asked about Kelly by Jill showed her true colors right off the bat... and way before Kelly even was known to the group. She didn't even know her well at all -- just because she saw her at a few parties, etc.. does not mean she knows her. That's a big one for Bethenny to get over, I know! (And, Countess Lu Ann) 2) Kelly and Bethenny then were at a fashion show.. Sitting beside each other, Kelly was more than gracious with Bethenny.. And, Bethenny acted like a sullen spoiled brat. Of course Kelly was taken aback and should have been insulted. 3) Then the Creaky Joints meeting when, once again.. Bethenny acted poorly against Kelly. Kelly is the kind of girl who does behind the scenes action for charity, etc. But, Bethenny is the kind who is selling her wares.. and wants attention for the CHARITY. Honestly, I cannot believe you people cannot see through this nonsense.

About Kelly's tongue tied answers: I can see that from her perspective .. and while being bombarded by the vipers on the other side of the room at the reunion (in this case, even Jill was attacking!) it was difficult to express what she needed to express. I mean.. Kelly was so nice to everyone and everyone was angry at her that she wasn't their best friend BEFORE really knowing them. Come on! She may have seen you around, Bethenny and LuAn.. but get over yourselves-- and, realize that doesn't mean that you need to take it so personally that she wasn't your best friend yet. I was so surprised at LuAnn's attitude towards Kelly. Kelly has said very nice things about her and invited her to so many things.
Why didn't the network show when Kelly asked Ramona if she was good friends with Jill? Ramona SAID NO. She's incredibly nutsy any way. The way she acts? Come on. It's not even fun to watch. It's sick. She and Mario are the worst ones for sure. She fights with everyone constantly about anything. And, Ramona has the nerve to say that Kelly doesn't make sense?! Ramona makes absolutely no sense. And, she's not nice.
When given the chance, Kelly invited Bethenny to hang out with her.. VERY NICELY while they were at the fashion show before all this other stuff broke loose. Bethenny behaved very BADLY and childishly in that instance. That was even before the Creaky Joints fundraising situation. I don't blame Kelly for finally being incensed with Bethenny's antics towards her. And, Bethenny (bully) sits back and just loves the reaction she finally evoked because it made her look good and Kelly not good. OH my.. be careful of your friends that are really enemeies! Nice charitable attitude there, Bethenny!. Have another Skinny Girl Margarita, Bethenny!

And, people... you're always talking about CHARITY. Why not be charitable to each other in spirit..

I think it's strange the way LuAn and Bethenny are so insulted that Kelly didn't act like their best friend BEFORE she really knew them. Come on. If that isn't self indulgent and aggrandizing behavior, I don't know what is!

Hello Andy,

Obviously, these girls (they are not mature enough to be classified as women) do not know the "Roberts Rules of Order"... Weren't they ever taught to speak one at a time?
Only Alex chimed in (once) to explain her version of Kelly's nonsense. Other than that, she remained mute (perhaps because her puppet master Simon was not there to feed her lines).
Their behavior on the reunion was an embarrassment. Potential customers or clients may be turned off and not want to do business with any of them.

P.S. to my previous note. Please let Bethenny know that not only in my opinion, but in everyone else's that I know that watches RHNYC ... she came off as jealous of Kelly from the beginning of the season, and as her anger and cutting remarks progressed, she looks more desperate. Is she afraid she won't be the prettiest single woman on the show? And as much as she comments on Kelly's celebrity friends, if I hear Tommy Hillfiger one more time out of B's mouth I'll throw up. I see some people still find her funny ... I find her snarky and desperate.

Andy, I love your programming and I always want to watch the clips you offer to viewers. BUT the stop gaps in the video and interviews is beyond annoying. As much as I enjoy it, I don't have hours to devote to your website and frankly I lose track of what the dialogue is between the housewives is, because I can not sit mindlessly in front of my computer. The advertisements you run before each video clip are not on an everlasting stop pause stop pause. Can you improve the qualiity of your online film? Inquiring minds what to know!!!!!!

Andy,

It seemed like you enjoyed making Ramona and Kelly defend every word they uttered during the season while they were attacked by the three bullies on the other side.

Most of your questions to them were how they responded to the treatment of the three bullies. Why weren't Jill, Bethenny and LuAnn questioned or shown footage of their nasty comments that started most of the fights? Just the people who responded? Seems pretty one sided and very bias.

Why didn't you ask Bethenny anything about all the nasty comments on her blogs and press interviews. She spent the entire season bashing the other women behind their backs and continues to do the same thing now.

Why were Jill and Bethenny given a free pass for all the fights they started and the rotton things they've said?

They sat there running their mouths, passing judgement, holding hands and interrupting anyone trying to answer their accusations. All they did was act like self righteous snobs or poor little victims when someone tried to point out their parts in the fighting.

You spent hours attacking Kelly, was that fun for you? Just so you can rip her words apart? Well, who else can be ripped apart after the show when you didn't make the the bullies answer anything or be held responsible for their behavior?

Although I like LuAnn and agree with most of her tips on etiquette, she is wrong about a couple of things. First, it is perfectly polite and mannerly for ladies to touch up their lipstick at the table in a restaurant, (read your Emily Post).
Second, it is not polite to insult someone's physical features as LuAnn did by saying that Ramona has "crazy eyes". That is petty and hitting below the belt. Ramona had every right to lash out at Luann for that very impolite and rude insult.

Holy Train Wreck Girls! The shouting and arm-waving could be heard and felt here, which is 1,000 miles away.

But on another subject...so interesting to me that so many posts from viewers are critical of the meanness and cattiness of the participants...using pretty volatile critical vocabulary...and then the posters go on to say mean and catty things about the people that they don't like. Is this a disease of women or our entire species? I'm wondering because Aha! I do the same thing myself.

Let's have a show with NeNe and the bad country singer (Atlanta), Tamra and the insurance selling woman (OC), and Ramona and Kelly...Blood would flow.

Andy man, you are so patient! I can't believe the way Ramona and Kelly acted, they should be BFFS! Kelly sits and acts like she's hot and sticks her tongue out all the time like she's licking ice cream, and talks like she's from like the Valley Girl like club and can't remember like a word she says. Ramona, the business woman?, looks crazy, and is so deceitful she has a hard time keeping up with her own lies, and never listens to anyone else except herself. I have an idea she records herself talking so she can play it back. Countess, Bethanny, and Jill, you're awesome! And Alex, stick to real life parenting and forget the book!

As I watched both reunion shows I was surprised that Alex was the voice of reason. She has really grown me this past season. At first I thought Simon and Alex were pretentious social climbers. But as Season 2 went on I realized they are and make no bones about it.Once I came to that realization, they became more likable and honest than the others who claim to NOT be socail climbers but really are. As much as I love Jill & Bethenny, they did seem to beat-up on Ramona quite a bit. I have to agree with others who have posted and friends who watch the show - no one enjoys watching Kelly - nothing about her is interesting, she is clueless and completely inarticulate.Which is funny because she calls herself a journalist but cannot voice her thoughts and ideas!
My vote is for Christina,Jill's friend,to become the new housewife. She's wealthy, in their social circle and seems to partake in cosmetic enhancements.I'd love to see more of her and her life. Just a thought from a fan who watches way too much reality TV!

WHAT ON GOD'S EARTH EVER SEDUCED THE "CASTS" OF THE "HOUSEWIFES OF..." TO DO ANY OF THESE SHOWS? A SCRIPT SO WELL CONCEIVED AS TO GRAB THE AUDIENCE & KEEP THEM ENTRANCED UNTIL THE END?
Nah, that's not it.
OH!!! ME! ME! I know!!
It's the AUDIENCE, dummie! Oh, yeah!!! No television program (or, as I like to call it,
Bubble Gum For The Brain) could exist more than one trial run without the Viewing Public actually Viewing.
My head houses a picture of the Viewing Public in General: The pic: 2 lounge
chairs-fully extended to recline, in front of a 50" (+/-)
HDTV. An ice chest between the loungers along w/ a small table for the Beef Jerky, popcorn, ashtray, tv remote...the list goes on ad nauseam.
Bravo used to be a channel I would check first for listings. Today, if bored, I'll turn on the unit, run the channels-then usually turn the set off.
What a sad commentary for us as a country & for each of us individually.

Do you do drug testing on the girls??? I can't think of any other explanation for an ivy league grad/former mag editor to act so clueless all the time and be completely incapable of expressing her thoughts and experiences!

The pain you must have endured to tape that show. All 7 hrs of it, is absurd! It was kinda a let down really.

I thought Jill was so much less verbal than last time. Bethenny was Bethenny. I think seeing LuAnn in the reunion show made me really like her. Previously I thought she was pretentious and an absentee parent. That all may be true, but I liked the side of her we saw this week. I've also come to like Alex a lot too. She alone, may not add a lot to the show but w/Simon in tow it's a good pkg for tv. Ramona is just nuts and internally confused. Definitely ADHD. Kelly needs to go stay at her $100+ million Hamptons manch or her $15 million condo. The girls got big issues!

Why did Kelly come out w/an apology to Bethenny yesterday on Page Six???

Andy -

I enjoyed the first season of NYC Housewives as a guilty pleasure, a trip into unreality/reality. I watched the second season, but I am concerned that these women behave so badly that they degrade women in general. I don't know anyone who treats her friends and acquaintances the way these gals do. I realize these are not educated or well-bred women, but honestly the actions and reactions are more worthy of high school girls jockeying for postion before they learn how to support each other and interact with each other in smooth social and working relationships.

I couldn't finish watching the reunion because it depressed me. If you are going to keep me as a viewer, I would need to see all of the women come back and learn how to treat each other with respect and basic politeness, face to face and behind each others' backs.

The only one who can sort of do this is Kelly, who is the most maligned housewife in the bunch.

Andy:
Just a note for next season: Kelly can't string together a sentence that makes any sense. When she does speak, she either continually uses high-school speak (amazing, cute, fun, who cares, it doesn't affect me at all), or name-drops. None of this makes good television. Please don't have her back on. Without the disagreement with Betthany this season, Kelly was a snooze, and her blogs an insight into her delusions of grandeur. I think she probably is a nice person, but due to her limited communication skills, she just can't hold her own amongst more verbal women. Just my opinion.

Anyone who thinks they are going to tune into
the HYNC Reunion and not see rude behavior hasn't been watching the show! It's what they
do, and, they do it well. These women are a guilty pleasure. You feel embarassed for enjoying their shenanigans and rudeness but
ya just have to see more. Kudos to the producers for casting these characters. For me
there was one comment that said it all. It was
when Alex was trying to explain her children's behavior and she said, "One thing they know is to not say mean things about people." It was classic and of course lost on
the Tweedle Dees. Ya gotta love em, not one
is better than the other and they keep trying.
Thanks for the mirror. It makes me think before I speak..or act...or write a book...

Is this show for real????? For people really act like this...........is it a NY "thing"?? I found it hard to believe that grown women get together for a reunion and act like they are there to just hurt other people and get real pleasure out of doing it......(all the screaming and shouting)....good, gosh! I wondering if any of them have real true friends..........I would think not if you treat them in such negative matters. I know one thing, no one will ever treat me like that, they may do it once, but never again....my friends would never act like that...Thank God for Texas people..........it's very degrading and shows they are so very shallow.....just poor rich trash.

Andy,
Kelly is a beautiful girl but she just needs to keep her mouth shut. She is very confusing and complicated when she speaks. She has gotta go!
Jill is my favorite! She and I would be best friends if we ever met.
Alex is sweet and stays out of the drama! Good girl!
Ramona has gotta go! Wacko!
Bethenny needs to quit searching for that right guy she needs to let love come to her. It will happen when she least expects it.
Luann is a class act but she needs to drop the Countess act it is getting boring. I know that is her title but quit throwing it in everybody's face. We know you are a Countess.
Get rid of Kelly and Ramona and it would be a Class Act show!

Andy-
I really felt exhausted FOR you after watching last night.....wow! I think YOU deserve an award just for hosting and facilitating that show!

I thoroughly enjoyed both hours/parts...except when so many were talking at the same time I couldn't hear what they were saying - thank goodness for the DVR as I had to rewind more than once!

Still love Jill & Bethenny: they are what-you-see-is-what-you-get kind of people; can't stand Kelly: she works very hard at making herself seem to be this sweet, unassuming gal-when we can see clearly that's not who she really is; I like Luann-she's very classy, yes, but I'm glad she had to take some crap about her uppitiness...she's got to tone that down a bit; Ramona is who she is: annoying, out-of-control, and entertaining; Alex, as always, the most self-controlled of the group.

I too believe that the reunion shows showed a lot of raw emotion, explosive at times, and full of surprises...but this is reality tv, folks! I suppose from reading some of the comments over the past few days, some would have preferred they were all restrained or for them to 'act nice' to each other. But how would that have been real? They are who they are, and they spoke, responded and acted with true feelings and honesty. Isn't that why we watch these shows?? [In the news recently were reports about a totally different reality show, on a different channel, that has been exposed as being TOTALLY fake - and those folks did a lot of interviews in which they 'appeared' very calm and restrained...it was all a sham! We don't want that, do we?]

I LOVE RHWONY and am sad it's over for the season. But you bet I'll be counting down the days until it starts again! Andy, you guys are doing it right at Bravo....it's my favorite channel - love the shows and adore you!!!!! Thanks!

While there was a lot of back and forth yelling, and at times it was hard to listen to, this was a "reunion" and with the usual cast of characters, was what I thought it would be.

Alex didn't participate except to try and explain Kelly's discussion w/Bethenney, but she got it all wrong. Kelly didn't even seem to even understand Alex's explanation to the others.

I think Bethenney has to stay clear of Kelly and her babble talk. It was funny when Kelly described herself as a blonde; my television has great color and no way could you describe her as a blonde. By Kelly showing up a half hour late to meet w/Bethenney and then showing up to her own Halloween party very late showed her true colors ... she thinks everyone should just be happy that she shows up whether she's late or not. Kelly is the weak link of the show and adds no real interest except to have a someone for Bethenney to rip apart.

My goodness. That screaming fest almost cost me my mariage. My hubby came in the room while all 6 women were screaming at each other. He took one look at the television and had to leave the room...while giving me the "I can't believe you watch this stuff" look.

It was over the top and I think you may need to treat the ladies the way that I treat my first grade class. Give them the rules....one person speaks at a time and we are respectful and listen while that person speaks, or no recess for you!

Alex has risen to the top of the heap this season. She's comfortable in her own skin and it shows.

Finally, I love the show but the reunion was more annoying than entertianing with all of the screaming at each other. Personally I prefer the Atlanta ladies. They screech for a bit and then start to go for the throat.

I would think if Kelly's father is an attorney (which she had to bring him up several times) he could get her out of her contract with Bravo. I sure wouldn't want my daughter talking in public when she clearly learned nothing from her expensive education. As a parent I could not take another season watching her. Please Andy put them (and us) out of misery.

Of all the "Housewives", NY is the best so far........Kelly is totally unnecessary to the show and should be kicked off next season.......I feel sorry for Luann, because she may be a little stuck on herself, but didn't deserved to be dumped by her husband via e-mail.....Bethenny is just looking for love, and I hope she finds it.........Ramona is covering up her pain and needs to confront and deal with her past and stop being so spastic.....Jill has a great husband, wonderful apartment, and a supportive family--she seems to have the best life of them all.......Alex and Simon are weird wannabes, but entertaining to watch.......looking forward to next season (without Kelly)

I commend Alex, Luann, and Kelly for staying out of the nastiness of the 2nd part of the reunion. This allowed the loud-mouthed characterters to show their meaness even more.

Why would Kelly want to be friends with those haracterters?

Hi Andy:

I am ridiculously addicted to all the Housewives show, but I am partial to New York, maybe because I am an east coast gal also. They just look so good without looking plastic and fake. Anywho, about the reunion show, whew that must have been like sitting between two foxholes in no man's land!!!I think much could be resoled if they could just let each other finish a sentence. BUT,i have to tell you that I was very, very happy that you didn't bring any of the husbands on the reunion show!! That would have just tanked the whole thing, just keep it between the gals!
Take care,
Denise

Andy,
It was funny watching you sit there and try to "handle" things. They were on a roll last night. Luanne, Jill, Bethany and Ramona are a perfect match. Kelly has never fit in with the show and doesn't belong there. Alex, because she is smart was low key all season and on the reunion show because she saw how bad she did last season and feared she would be kicked off the show. She really doesn't belong there in the mix either. The other four, however, really make the show a hit for obvious reasons. If you need to put 2 other people in there, keep searching until you find the right match.

Actually ~ I found the second half to be a 'let down' after the first huge dramality recap!! Too much of the second half had to be slow mo'ed to even hear one third of what anyone was saying. I never have been fond of watching NOISE which is what happens when everyone talks as loud as they can to be heard over the next big mouth!!

lmtlsao

On to ~ oh wait ~ no choices now ~ slow no drama Fashion show or mafiaso brides ~ hummmm ~ okiez onto Food Network where there is more likely to be drama for a few weeks!!

Enjoy Vegas Baby!! I hear one can actually walk down the streets there now and not even worrying bout being mugged!! Ghost town!!

~ little grins ~

Hi Andy,

Well, Part Deux was not as toxic as I expected. You dodged and weaved as the fierceness flew. You monitored the girls' slugfest well.

Clearly, Jill and Bethenny have formed a covenant. They behaved like the judge and jury. Ramona was a piece of work who instigated many of the conflicts. Luann was under great criticism from the others and remained composed (for the most part). Her book seemed to be formed by an interest she had, rather than who she thought she was. The others didn't understand her.
Alex sat there like a lump and contributed nothing interesting except when she decoded KellySpeak. And Kelly was Klueless and Konfused. She was the epitome of a dumb blond with brown hair. Was that due to editing or is she really that nonsensical?

The best part of the show was that it was missing the unnecessary testosterone element. Thank you for keeping the malewives out of there.

I thought reunions were supposed to be fun and warm. Obviously,, not in NYC.

Again, it was painful to listen to the second part of the reunion.. at one point, I almost turned it off, their behavior was so horrible. They are on TV, not sitting in Cipriani by themselves afterall-don't they have any sense of how to behave in front of the world, how they are perceived or are they now such "stars" they think people will love them anyway?

Jill restrained herself as much as she could but was at fault as well with her yelling and "Bethenny bias" and Alex is the smartest so she kept herself beyond the fray for the most part.. but Ramona is crazy and it is tough to listen to Kelly--she sounds like a moron and cannot get through a simple sentence or finish a thought. I think she leads a silly life, full of boring conversations, seems to have few interests if at all, and is not accomplished. Why have her there?

And Bethenny considers herself such a diva when in fact she was rude to Kelly from the getgo because of her paranoia and multiple neuroses- things might have unfolded differently if she had been different though Kelly cannot hold her own with this bunch as was evident later on.

I know the reunions are designed for recriminations, but this went way too far and told us almost nothing about the episodes and everything about these women and how they really are capable of behaving in public- badly..it was so combative as to be distasteful. Some viewers may love it, I did not and was embarrassed watching it.

Loved the reunion show. Kelly must go, she is so out there. She honestly thinks that she is a blond? WOW! Kelly really doesn't fit in and she thinks it's all about her, she doesn't want to be friends with the other housewives because it's competition for her.
Keep up the good work

Bye from California

Hi Andy,

I love your blog. It's the only blog I read on a consistent basis. It brightens my day. I love the shows Bravo schedules. My 20 year old neice, Monica, and I try to watch the Real Housewives Brand together as much as possible. But we definitely talk about the episodes. We do not have the same favorites. For instance, she is a Bethany fan and I love Kelly Bensimon. I like Bethany too. Her rapier wit makes me happy. I have four sisters and the reunion shows soooo reminded me of when my sisters and I are together. You summed up the season beautifully. I can't remember your exacty words but basically you said everyone is crazy but loves each other in the end. My question is...do you see a common thread between the housewives? Of course they are all different but it seems to me they are all good kind hearted people. Maybe they are a little critical of each other but honestly what friends are not that way. One more quick question, how does Bravo choose the housewife? Is it who the HW knows or is there a screening process. Monica and would love to know. Whats up with the OC gals. Do they ever have charity events? All the others do? And for all the people that send you emails and give you suggestions for your body, hair, eyes etc. be nice people. Who really does that? I would never. I find that very odd. Monica and I think its really cute when people try to fix you up with their neighbor, brother whomever it may be. LOL. Have a good day! And bravo on the riveting television you make for us.

I'm watching what happens,

Wayne

Loved, loved, loved the reunion show!

Highlights for me:
*Jill acting like a prosecuting lawyer with her constant, "Answer the question, are you with or not with Max."

*LuAnn standing up to Kelly and calling her out on her party snubbing

*The cool as a cucumber Alex who was had smart insights to share but did not (wisely) get involved in all the name calling. Loved her explanation of her books and kids behavior.

*Ramona providing insight into her own childhood drama. She really fell apart anytime she came under attack and it's hard to like her at times, but her background explains a lot.

*Bethenny's hilarious running commentary (we got the memo that you drive a pick-up truck) and ability to be very funny and self deprecating at the same time

*Kelly's continued descent into Kelly World - "You're brunette and I'm blond"?(?), "who cares" and trying way to hard to use big vocabulary words like insular

You guys make really good tv at Bravo and I thank you for it! Its my number one "go-to" channel

Andy: You were very brave to take on the Housewives of NYC in that 2 night reunion!!! At one point you said "I have a headache" and went to commercial. I can totally understand that! I was getting a headache just listening to them on the tv. The claws really did come out. I definitely notice a HUGE difference between the Wives of OC and the Wives of NYC. The NYC wives say exactly what they want to say whether it hurts your feelings or not but the OC wives tone it down a bit. I don't see them coming across as strong as the Wives in NYC. NYC wives seem tougher and won't take any crap but OC wives seem to hold back abit. Not as aggressive. I enjoyed the 2 night reunion however even with the yelling and carrying on. That's entertainment!! I guess. I think you are great. Looking forward to another season. So far am enjoying the Housewives of New Jersey.

I think the viewer was correct about the artwork. I have noticed that different cast members have been interviewed on the same couch with the same artwork behind them.

Andy,
About the reunion show:
Beth and Jill- ridiculously mean
Luann- I thought I was watching the twilight zone. When you were showing the highlights of her weirdness,(IE the extremely rude response she gave to the poor girl who asked about cutting up chicken ) she was smiling proudly and looking at Jill for validation. She is a bit delusional. She has no self- awareness. For someone who wrote a book on manners she lacks manners herself.
Ramona- defended herself well against the attacks from Jill and Bethenny. However, maybe this will be a lesson to her to think before she speaks so she won't get into so much trouble.

I wish you had seated them differently. It was the mean bullies on one side picking on the other girls. I finally couldn't take it anymore and switched channels.
I guess for people who like to kick puppies and hit children it was fun to watch.
