June is so yellow I can't handle it! Thanks for all your sweet birthday wishes yesterday and a super special shout out to Andy's Blog reader Andrew and his Chicago posse for the beautiful orchid. Wow. Anthony and I were very touched.

So on Monday I finally broke bread with the (self-described) "fat girl" who bid 1600 bucks to have lunch with me at the Palm. She's a stunner called Julie from Scarsdale and we had a blast. She watches EVERYTHING and breaks the shit down; she knows more about Bravo than many people at Bravo! Needless to say we went deeper than deep and I should've had her sign a confidentiality agreement. It was a fun lunch!!

Monday night was the first screening of NYC Prep at the The Paley Center for Media followed by a panel discussion featuring members of the cast, producer Lenid Rolov, and me. The cast is literally kids from prep schools all over NYC, and they are kids like no other. Mini-adults is more like it. They lead lives at 16 that most don't at 36.  I am anxious for this show to get going so we can discuss ...

After the (riveting) panel discussion, I motored downtown to a superfancy dinner on top of the High Line, the elevated railroad tracks that have been converted into a public park running up a few miles of the West Side. This project has been in deveopmentl for over 10 years and Monday night was essentially the first time the "public" was going up there to check out phase one of the project. By "public" I mean 200 very very fancy New Yorkers and random people like me.

Andy! After boycotting the show, I just watched the finale of Make Me A Supermodel. I cannot tell you how disappointed I am with the show this season. It was completely obvious the show was rigged and geared toward the men this season. The fact the show was rigged was proven when they eliminated Jordan, who was the only high fashion model in attendance, and entertaining to boot. How can you eliminate a girl who was praised week after week, including the week they eliminate her, and whose body of work was AMAZING. Plus, you couldn't touch her on the catwalk because she was that good. After her elimination the show lost its credibility with me and I stopped watching. I watched the finale and wasn't impressed with the men and the show was actually extremely boring. Sad, so very sad. I'm sad because I loved the uniqueness of this show (catwalk, go-see's, men)and I truly believed it was a TRUE modeling competition. But like everything else in "reality" TV, it is a entertainment manipulated and controled by the producers and editors to fit what they want.

Andy,

After watching the entire second season of Make Me a Supermodel; I think the more apt title (based on Branden's win) should be, "Make a Me a Stupid Model". That is what the judges want, that's what they got!

It was the most compromised selection of any idiotic winner of any Bravo Reality Game Show ever. Both Jonathan and Sandhurst modeled rings around the twerpy teenager. It was very disappointing to see the better candidates tossed to the curb.

Terrible decision. Terrible outcome. Terrible game show!

Hi Andy. I have two questions for Danielle. Danielle said she was doing modeling work when she was "at the wrong place at the wrong time." What kind of model was she because although most mug shots aren't flattering it's hard to believe she got legitimate work with her prior look. Also her shady past didn't seem to deter her wealthy ex-husband from marrying her or did she hide this information from him and that's why he's so hostile to her?

Jeana Keough is my favorite on the OC.
Please Please Please include her in the next season.
I can't imagine not seeing her and her kids.
The show wouldn't be the same.
She is the center of the show!!!!

Amazing that someone would wonder why Dina's husband isn't on the show.
Perhaps because he has some self respect.
Look what happened to Beth's boyfriend Jason, he was fired for being on the show.

Dina, why doesn't your husband participate in the show at all? At least the other husbands have made an apperance.

For Dina, you continually point out that you are a good person, yet your actions tell a different story. Even if Danielle is as bad as the book, you weren't honest about your roll in it, or about your intolerance for her. You do have a grudge and we're just not real clear on what that is. You band together like school girls and instead of entertainment we have an adult version of mean girls. You don't have to say your a good person if you act like one.

Teresa,

Why do you and your husband pay for expensive items with cash? I worry if the IRS is watching you will be audited.

Happy belated birthday Andy!! Hope it was fantastic! (like you)
Question for Theresa...you seem to take your daughters out shopping often and don't appear to hold back when they ask you for something while you shop. Are you concerned that they're being taught to expect (and even demand) to get whatever they want? I think you're great and you obviously think the world of your girls. I'm just wondering your thoughts on this. Thank you!
