Anna Faris Opens Up About Chris Pratt Split: "Life's Too Short" For "Somebody Who Doesn't Have Your Back"

Oh, snap.

Anna Faris is revealing what went on behind the scenes in her split from Chris Pratt.

The actress 40, appeared on the podcast My Favorite Murder on Tuesday, and gave advice to a caller which sounded like it was coming from dealing with her current real-life drama.

When the caller asked about relationship advice, Anna said, “Life is too short to be in relationships where you feel this isn't fully right or somebody doesn't have your back, or somebody doesn't fully value you.”

Wait, there’s more.

She went on saying, “Don't be afraid to feel your independence if things aren't right.”

And she drew from her own experience with Chris, telling the caller, “I made that mistake, I think, a little bit, like ‘I’m checking my relationship off the list’ and if that would be the final piece of advice I could give you, that would be know your worth, know your independence.”

She’s going to be ok too, she’s excited about the future.

“There are so many people out there, there's so much life experience, I hope you get to live it all and experience a whole lot of people,” she said.

After announcing the duo’s split, she had thanked her fans for their support.

“Hey, dear listeners!” she said on her own podcast, Unqualified. “I just want to thank you all so much for all the love I've been receiving, and I truly love you.”

The two were married for eight years and share 4-year old son Jack together.

Meanwhile, Chris, 38, appeared at the Teen Choice Awards on Sunday to accept his award for Choice Sci-Fi Movie Actor. He didn’t mention Anna in his speech, but said, “I would not be here with the ease and grace I have in my heart without my lord and savior, Jesus Christ.”
