Anthony Weiner Admits He's "Sick" While Long Suffering Huma Abedin Files For Divorce

Huma Abedin has finally filed for divorce against disgraced ex-congressman Anthony Weiner, just as he pleaded guilty in court today to sexting with a minor, reports the New York Post.

Huma brought an anonymous versus anonymous action before the Manhattan Supreme Court, and asked the court to seal the case. There is not expected to be a battle over custody of their son or their assets.

Meanwhile, Weiner, 52, cried in court over his serial sexting problem, admitting that he sent X-rated messages to a 15-year-old high school student in North Carolina in 2016.

“I have a sickness but I do not have an excuse,” he told a Manhattan federal judge. “I knew that was morally wrong."

“He pleaded guilty to a single count of transferring obscene material to a minor as part of a plea agreement with the US Attorney’s Office in Manhattan. He must register as a sex offender,” reports the paper.

He also agreed to forfeit his iPhone as part of the deal.

The judge will decide his punishment and he will be sentenced on September 8. He faces between 21 and 27 months behind bars. He has to pay a $150,000 bond and he surrendered his passport.
