Billionaire Roman Abramovich May Break A Record With The World's Most Expensive Divorce

Wife number three, payout number three.

Billionaire Roman Abramovich - owner of the most expensive yacht in the sea - is splitting from his third wife after 10 years of marriage—and it could cost him big time. Like, as in the world’s most expensive divorce of all time.

Roman, 50, worth upwards of $7 billion, and soon-to-be ex Dasha Zhukova, 36, share two children and say the divorce is “amicable.”

As of June 8, Dasha’s wedding ring has been off and last week she was pictured on David Geffen's yacht Rising Sun. On July 4 she was seen partying with Katy Perry.

Even though the duo are said to remain friendly, Roman’s divorce settlement of $150 million with his second wife Irina Vyacheslavovna Malandina in 2007 was the fourth largest break-up bill in the world at the time, reports the Daily Mail.

Roman and Dasha are also in business together, and founded the Garage Museum of Contemporary Art in Moscow.

The divorce will likely be granted in Russia.

The two were married in a secret ceremony in 2008, and kept the wedding a secret from the public for six years.

Currently topping the list of most expensive divorces ever are Rupert Murdoch and Anna Murdoch, Mel Gibson and Robyn Moore, and Michael Jordan and Juanita Jordan.
