Calvin Harris Says "I Can Do What I Want," Just Like Taylor
The DJ is revealing, then deleting his real feelings about the breakup.
Talk to us, Calvin.
It seems Calvin Harris is itching to say something publicly about his split from Taylor Swift, since he keeps taking to social media to reveal a nugget about ther relationship, then delete it just as quickly.
We know two things. One, he got dumped. All signs point to Taylor taking up with The Night Manager star Tom Hiddleston, 35, probably before she was able to call it quits with the Scottish DJ. Two, he’s mad.
Calvin, 32, first took to Twitter to release a PC statement about having a huge amount of “love and respect,” for the singer…until she was spotted kissing Tom on the rocky beach near her Rhode Island home. Bye bye tweet.
Now, he’s made several comments on Instagram, replying to fans, writing that he was "not sad at all" about the split. In fact, he said he now feels "free."
"I've reached a point of genuine curiosity, I'm not sad at all I feel amazing right now,” he also replied.
He went on, “I cared too much and then I didn't care at all…I am a real person remember." And "I can do what I want. Like she can. And does."
And revealed that Taylor is a pro when it comes to controlling her public narrative.
“[She] controlled the media and this situation. I had no idea what was going on. So that kind of makes it a lot worse from my perspective."
He confirmed it was him to a fan with a simple, “it’s me.”
Taylor, 26, dated Calvin for 15 months before breaking up with him with a phone call.
