It takes cojones to totally change your career path, so it's a good thing Cara Delevingne has them. The model-turned-actress has never been afraid to take risks, and she just announced a new project that we did not see coming. Ready for this? Get your reading glasses ready!
Today, the newly platinum beauty made a major announcement via Instagram. In what she called a "pinch me moment," Cara told the world that Mirror, Mirror her debut novel, will come out in October. Yes, a novel! And here we thought models-becoming-photographers was the trend to beat.
According to Cara's note, the book will tell the "twisty" story of three sixteen-year-old girls. Steel yourself: there will be a major plot twist worthy of "scary music." What's more, the author would like to start a virtual book club where she and her fans can hash out the following: "self discovery, friendship, pain, triumph!! Being a teenager!! The experiences that shape YOU!" Sounds pretty juicy, right? If you're ready to join the book club to beat, you can pre-order Cara's book this very minute.
So, did Cara actually write the book without help? Well, there's been some speculation about that. But, la la la, fingers in ears... we'd like to think she did. And that Kendall and Kylie wrote every word of Rebels: City of Indra: The Story of Lex and Livia. It's a beautiful dream.
