This is What Cher Herself Said About Kim Kardashian West's "Cher Hair"

This iconic lewk has made a major comeback in Hollywood.

While many celebs including Emma Roberts and The Real Housewives of Orange County pal Tamra Judge have been giving the popular bob a try, there’s also been a lengthy style taking over Hollywood: the “Cher Hair.”

At the forefront of this trend stands none other than Kim Kardashian West. While West may have platinum blonde (almost silver) strands now, earlier this year West was rocking ultra long black hair, which evoked Cher’s signature look.

And in case you had any doubts as to where the hair inspo came from, they were surely answered when West paid homage to Cher on the September 2017 cover of Harper’s Bazaar Arabia. West even shared her excitement over the cover on Instagram with a post where she described the "Believe" singer as her style icon.

In a recent inteview with People Style, the legendary singer shared her thoughts on West’s take on her classic look, and its newfound popularity. “It’s a good look! I saw Kim [Kardashian West] do it, and thought it was so great. I’ve worn my hair like that since I was a girl. For now it’s back, but then girls will start doing something else when they get bored," she said.

Demi Lovato has also been rocking "Cher Hair" since ever since her Bee Gees tribute performance at the 2017 Grammy Awards. And we must say this lewk definitely suits her.
