Cuba Gooding Jr. has brought many legendary roles to life on the big and small screens. Between his work in The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story as well as films like Jerry Maguire and As Good as It Gets, the Oscar-winning actor has left his mark on Hollywood. And, as it turns out, thanks to his work in The Fighting Temptations, he even gotten the chance to get up close and personal with Beyoncé, as he dished on Inside the Actors Studio Thursday night. We're breaking down some of the buzziest moments from last night in The Daily Dish Morning After.
1. Inside the Actors Studio
So, how did Cuba prepare for his smooch with the pop star? "Sexuality is on screen you have to create a chemistry with the partner," he said (clip above). "I don't care if it's a guy and a girl, guy-guy, girl-girl — if you don't establish a trust there with the person, it's not just gonna turn on with 'Action.' So my whole thing is do things chivalrous, make them feel like you really do like them. And it's easy with Beyoncé, obviously."
Cuba even dished all about his first time... well, his first movie role, that is. And, don't forget to check out the February 9 episode of IAS when the cast of Girls sits down with James Lipton to dish about the show's final season.
3. Top Chef
Yes, the term "umami bomb" was just used.
4. On the Next... Top Chef
We love seeing Top Chef judge Padma Lakshmi bust out her culinary skills and engage in some heart-to-heart conversation with the cheftestants. You can score an invite to Padma's dinner party on the next Top Chef, airing Thursday at 9/8c.
5. Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen
As if we didn't think things could get any spicier, Girls BFF Andrew Rannells and Z: The Beginning of Everything Christina Ricci brought their fierceness to the Clubhouse. As you can see, things got shaaaady.
