The rapper allegedly had a "massive meltdown."
After the nightmare that was the Yeezy Season 4 show at New York Fashion Week—try not to faint reviewing its finer points—Kanye West reportedly went on a bit of a firing spree. According to Page Six, the rapper "had a massive meltdown" (surprise) and had his agent give 30 staffers the boot. The story alleges that he also got rid of his cell phone, so that people could only contact him via email.
But, another source had a more restrained take on the situation. This person shared: "[Kanye] didn’t have a ‘nervous breakdown.’ Some people got let go, and there was a reorganization of others who he moved back to the music side of things. He’s a grownup." The source also insists that it's not unusual for Yeezy to give his cell phone a rest. Apparently, "he always does that."
In any case, the Fashion Week situation had nothing on the petrifying ordeal Kim and Kanye are going through this week. We wish Mr. and Mrs. West much sunnier days ahead.
