Did Mariah Carey's Diva Ways Get Her Dumped?

A source says it's a wrap for the couple, who have been engaged since January.

Has Mariah Carey been “dumped?”

A Woman’s Day report claims that the diva was dumped by Australian billionaire businessman, James Packer after a falling out over her upcoming reality show, Mariah’s World.

And even though he has a fat bank account, James also didn’t approve of Mariah’s over-the-top spending habits, although he let her keep the massive 35-carat engagement ring he gave her when proposed in January.

“It’s all over,” a source said of the couple, who came out publicly in June 2015 in Capri, Italy.“James had huge reservations about Mariah’s new reality TV show and the fact that she was willing to expose their lives to the world.”

Another problem was Ros Packer, James’ mom, who reportedly didn’t approve of Mariah.

A newly single Mariah canceled her upcoming South American tour dates, blaming it on concert promoters.

“Devastated my shows in Chile, Argentina & Brazil had to be cancelled,” she tweeted on Tuesday. “My fans deserve better than how some of these promoters treated them."

Mariah’s Godmother, Patti LaBelle, wouldn’t answer a caller’s question whether wedding plans for the singer had “stalled,” but admitted she had never met James.

Mariah was previously married to Nick Cannon, but they split in August 2014. They share 5-year-old Moroccan and Monroe.

Mariah's rep tells Entertainment Tonight that it's not over just yet. "The fight was not because of any cheating allegations or excessive spending by Mariah," the rep says, adding that James is "one of the most successful businessmen in the world."

“They are trying to work it out," the rep said. "Right now, they’re not sure if they will stay together."

The two plan to release an official statement after they've determined their future. They were last spotted together on Sept. 22.
