Downton Abbey's Matthew Goode to Co-Star in a Tasty New Show About Wine

Don't know much about wine? Not to worry: The famous stars of this fun new wine show don't either.

Now that Downton Abbey is over, what can fans of Matthew Goode (who plays Henry Talbot) do to console themselves? Drink lots of wine—and watch Goode talk about said wine. Because starting this spring, Goode is starring with Matthew Rhys (of The Americans) in a show all about wine. The pair aren't wine experts, mind you, but they do manage to educate and entertain as they sit around tasting and discussing various bottles of vino.

Simply titled The Wine Show and premiering on ITV with 13 hour-long episodes, the series features wine experts sourcing notable bottles from around the world, and joining the duo (at their villa in Italy, naturally) to educate them (and other novices) about what they're drinking. We also get to watch as the two Matthews drive around Italy, struggle with their GPS, and crack jokes en route to the next great wine adventure.

As you can see in the trailer (below), the two stars are eager to learn more about one of the world's tastiest and most complex beverages—by drinking it, of course. "Trying something different is the best way to understand more about this marvelous drink," Goode says in the trailer.
