PEOPLE's World's Most Beautiful Woman dishes on what keeps her looking and feeling great.
Jennifer Aniston was just named this year's World's Most Beautiful Woman by PEOPLE Magazine, and anyone who thinks that title takes zero work should check out Jennifer's daily diet. She shared her impressively rigorous food diary with PEOPLE in an interview which appears on newsstands Friday, April 22.
While Jennifer doesn't skip coffee (she has hers with low-fat milk and Stevia) she also kicks off her morning with a virtuous cup of hot water and lemon, plus a scary-sounding protein shake. “I’ll put in bananas, cherries, blackberries, a greens powder, a collagen peptide, a little cacao powder, chocolate stevia drop and chocolate almond milk,” she said. Collagen peptide and greens powder? Mmmm. But at least there's chocolate in there: “You can see I like chocolate-flavored," says Jen. "I don’t like protein taste.”
Her snacks are equally restrained, but some things she eats for lunch sound tastier, like a hard-boiled egg or a seared ahi tuna salad (although, "I use Bragg's amino acids to replace soy sauce," she admits).
She reserves her true indulgences for dinner, when she might have roasted chicken with spiraled zucchini and pesto sauce. Or every couple of weeks, she and husband Justin Theroux might whip up a rich pasta carbonara, she told PEOPLE.
According to Jennifer, this diet is nowhere near as rigid as it used to be. “I’m not as strict as I was," she says. “Then I thought, just give yourself moderation.”
This diet still sounds pretty heroic to us, but we're totally down with that moderation thing.
