Hey! Free Beer for Anyone Who Adopts Abused Dogs from This Shelter!

This brewery has a creative campaign for raising awareness.

You know that old trick where you shout “SEX!” really loudly to get the attention of a room? Well a brewery in Budapest has figured out an equivalent attention-grabber—but theirs brings notice to dogs in need.

Mad Scientist Brewery will be giving out free, personalized crates of beer to generous souls who take in specified dogs from the Noe Animal Sanctuary in Hungary which has been rescuing abandoned and abused animals for 25 years.

Upon the dog’s adoption, the new owner will receive a free crate of Mad Scientist beer that has been specifically brewed to match the dog’s personality.

The animal-loving brewery owner, Tamas Szilagyi dreamt up the campaign as a way to raise awareness about abandoned animals and promote adoption. “We wanted to draw people’s attention that sanctuary dogs are not worse than other dogs. They are not waste you throw out,” Szilagyi told Golbal News.

Meanwhile the Noe Animal Sanctuary is thrilled with the campaign and have already seen one puppy—a Rottweiller named Radisson—adopted. Here’s hoping the awareness results in the six other pups finding loving homes soon!
