Already the stuff of fast food legend, the KFC Double Down uses two pieces of fried chicken as a “bun." That's all we really need to know, but yes, the sandwich has an inside too—and that's where you'll find all the bacon, cheese and special sauce meant to make the chicken extra-juicy.
2. Fried Chicken Shell Chalupa

Taco Bell's new chicken chalupa involves breaded and fried chicken...and no, not on the inside. The fried bird forms the actual taco shell for all the lettuce, tomatoes, cheese and “avocado ranch sauce” jammed inside.
3. Chicken Parm Pizza
The New York City restaurant Quality Italian understands that people love chicken parm, but will they love it as a pizza crust? Time will tell. Fried chicken gets pounded into a “dough," then topped with cheese and sauce, just like the parm you know and love.
4. Fried Chicken Sushi Roll
Fried chicken in sushi? The Wayfarer in New York City isn't the only place where you'll find it, but it's a good place to start if you're curious. Because why wouldn't you be?
