Dying to Try Glitter Lips? Here Are 7 Foolproof Ways to Recreate the Trend

Ah, glitter lips. Thanks to neverending inspiration from the hottest runways, celebs like Naomi Campbell, Rihanna, and Gigi Hadid, and the world’s latest fascination with all things unicorn, makeup junkies cannot get enough of this trend. While it may not be our go-to for a day in the office, we can’t deny that the trend has a playful and irresistible appeal. Not to mention, it makes for one ultra-glamorous selfie.
For our big Trend Testers debut, we decided to give to give this bold look a try. And we were surprised to find how simple it is to achieve. To recreate this look our resident “glitter lover” Lucy first swiped on a layer of Sephora Collection Colorful Gloss Balm in Balm Diggity, and then gently patted on Make Up For Ever Diamond Powder in Champagne onto her lips using a lip brush. Aside from the simple application, our trend investigator also found it to be pleasantly comfortable (even kissproof, kind of), and was appeased that she didn’t have glitter dripping from her face as she expected.
