Gucci continuously raises the bar when it comes to cinematic and ethereal fashion campaigns. But the brand's latest launch is certainly one for the books (errr, spaceships?).
Led by visionary creative director Alessandro Michele, Gucci’s Fall/Winter 2017 campaign brings an intergalactic story to life with the chicest aliens and robots we’ve ever seen. Inspired by 1950s and 1960s sci-fi and the iconic Star Trek, the campaign mimics scenes of alien abductions and dinosaur battles all while showing off the brands latest designs. Ultimately, it takes us to a fashion world far beyond our wildest dreams.
In the official campaign video, the green models are decked out in vintage blinged-out frames, while the humans are enrobed in psychedelic printed pants and dresses with colorful printed leather bags to match. We also spotted plenty of fun sequined and floral printed coats modeled throught the "teleporter" scene of the campaign.
The brand's newest shoe designs will also give you a blast from the past. Gucci gave its new Mary Jane pump detailed with a crystal buckle a major spotlight on Instagram.
Overall, the campaign adds a fun sense of adventure to its newest collection, which happens to be filled with playful florals, embroderies, and crystals. Hey, if you're going to be abducted by aliens it might as well be in style right?
