Gwen Stefani will be a bride again.
The 46-year-old No Doubt frontwoman and the country star have hired a celebrity wedding planner with offices based in Tennessee and New York, and has planned events for the Country Music Awards—so the wedding may be a country-themed one. Planner Jerri Woolworth is working on the upcoming day.
It’s been reported Blake was planning on popping the question this summer, but that the duo’s hectic touring schedule hasn’t allowed time for an engagement yet.
The couple’s romance has been a whirlwind, coming on the heels of Gwen’s split from Gavin Rossdale after he cheated, and Blake’s divorce from singer Miranda Lambert. Gwen has said finding out about Gavin's infidelities was "hell" and "torture," and that it took months of digging to find out the truth.
In the latest issue of Cosmopolitan, Gwen gushed about the relationship, saying, “It was like it was in the air—happening before it happened.”
She says of their work together on The Voice, “We were laughing our heads off when we saw the blind auditions, I love NBC, but they for sure edited stuff to look like we were flirting,” she says. “They chose to run with that story before anything was even real. I hardly knew him. But it was like it was in the air—happening before it happened.”
The two have written Go Ahead, Break My Heart together and it quickly became a hit on the country charts.
