New York Bully Crew is a non-profit rescue organization dedicated to rescuing pit bulls and pit bull mixes (although they’ll take in any animal in dire need). “We at NYBC firmly believe that there are NO bad dogs, just bad owners,” reads their website. “Educating the public is a must if the bully breeds are to have a chance of survival in today’s society.”
We first saw Pierce on NYBC’s Instagram, and when we looked into his imploring brown eyes, we fell completely in love. Pierce is a 9-week-old Pittie mix who was found on the beach in Puerto Rico with his siblings and mom (also available for rescue through New York Bully Crew). The four pound, black and white little boy is good with adults, children, and socialized dogs. If you know of anyone in the New York region interested in adopting, please share!
And, of course, Pierce is just one of hundreds up for adoption at New York Bully Crew (they are adopting out puppies and adults alike)—and one of millions of dogs in need nationwide. (To find a rescue in your state, visit PetFinder.)
If you’d like to help but aren’t able to adopt at this time, you can also foster or donate ($5 will help feed Pierce for one day!).
