Here's How to Find Adult Time at a Family Water Park

Go play, children.

Planning a trip where the whole family will be happy doesn’t have to be impossible. The kids want to play, and the parents want to play...meaning they want to drink until their kids exhaust themselves and go to sleep, then drink some more.

So why not pick a theme park this summer? It's not all water slides and screaming kids. Universal’s Volcano Bay at Orlando Resort had the bright idea to add private places where parents can hang for adult time while the kids play in the water theme park. Yay!

Sip away while your little ones play in the many watering holes— there are multi-directional wave pool with sandy beaches, peaceful winding rivers, twisting multi-rider raft rides, speeding body slides that drop from the top of the volcano into the waters below. Not like you have to do any of that if you want to relax with your SO.

Here's how to get away from the kids on your getaway:

1.  Bring the babysitter

Sit away from the kids and pay your babysitter to take a sweet vacation with your fam so you and your partner can and plop down on some beach side padded loungers drift away for the sounds of "mommy! mommy!"

2.  Book a private cabana

Again, babysitter. You hang with your hubby or wife all day in your own little cabana, most have menus and wait staff.

3.  Dinners for two

Order room service for the kids and keep your date night even on vacation. Hit a nice restaurant and order the most expensive thing on the menu.

Universal Orlando's Volcano Bay is set to open May 25. The innovative new water park will be steps away from Universal’s other theme parks, Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios Florida, five themed on-site hotels Universal CityWalk’s dining, shopping, and entertainment.
