Is This The Strangest Restaurant in America? The Real Housewives of Orange County Investigate

Edible beehives are just the beginning for the spot that wants to put the fun in fine dining.

By Tamara Palmer

You may have seen what might be the weirdest restaurant in the country when The Real Housewives of Orange County visited the West Hollywood location of Barton G (which is also in Miami). In honor of Eddie Judge's birthday, the RHOC friends ordered a bunch of the most popular dishes, which are served in outrageous and often quite literal ways.

For instance, lobster and crab pop tarts are served in an actual retro toaster.

The popcorn shrimp is carted out in a popcorn machine.

And if you order Samurai swordfish, like Eddie and several other diners did, it's going to be impaled on a sword and make you the center of attention.

The cocktail menu includes an array of drinks served with liquid nitrogen, such as Buddhalicious, a lychee and cranberry martini that Meghan King Edmonds ordered.

Don't forget dessert! This place certainly hasn't; the two-foot tall cotton candy beehives seem to be Barton G's biggest hit on Instagram.

The RHOC party seemed to have a great time at a place where theater meets dinner on the plate.

"It is the most bizarre restaurant that I've ever seen!" exclaimed Eddie's wife Tamra Judge.
