Finally, Ivana Trump is taking advantage of her family’s position in the highest office in the land.
Previously having stayed mum on her ex-husband Donald and the three adult children they share, Ivanka, Eric, and Don Jr., Ivana is now set to publish a book about the “life lessons” she’s learned from her kids and from yes, Donald.
The book, “Raising Trump,” will not focus on her ex’s presidency or politics, but will instead be a memoir focused on Ivana’s own experiences. It will be published by Gallery Books, part of Simon & Schuster, on Sept. 12, the Associated Press reports.
Ivana will write at length about her childhood in Czechoslovakia, her escape to the West, her modeling and fashion career, and her marriage to the real estate mogul, including their bitter divorce.
“As her former husband takes his place as the 45th president of the United States, his children have also been thrust into the media spotlight — but it is Ivana who raised them and proudly instilled in them what she believes to be the most important life lessons: loyalty, honesty, integrity and drive,” said a statement from Gallery Books on Wednesday.
Ivana was Donald’s first wife; she divorced him in 1992 amid his high-profile affair with Marla Maples.
The story was tabloid gold in New York City at the time. Marla went on to become his second wife (they share daughter Tiffany.) Donald is now on wife number three, First Lady Melania Trump, mom to son Barron, 10.
During the presidential campaign, Ivana says she constantly received compliments on how classy and put together her adult children were, so she decided to tell her story about raising them.
Ivanka, Eric and Don Jr., called her an “amazing mom” and will all weigh in with stories in the book.
