We hope you got some rest over the weekend, because it appears that Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are embroiled in an Instagram feud, and they are taking no prisoners.
It all started after Justin posted a slew of photos of himself with his new rumored girlfriend Sofia Richie, daughter of Lionel Richie and younger sister of Nicole Richie, on Instagram Sunday. The "Sorry" singer apparently got so much flack from followers for posting the pics, that he captioned one photo of the pair, "I'm gonna make my Instagram private if you guys don't stop the hate this is getting out of hand, if you guys are really fans you wouldn't be so mean to people that I like."
Selena then reportedly commented on the photo. "If you can't handle the hate then stop posting pictures of your girlfriend lol – it should be special between you two only," she wrote, according to PEOPLE. "Don't be mad at your fans. They love you."
And then the really crazy thing was that Justin reportedly responded. "It's funny to see people that used me for attention and still try to point the finger this way," he wrote. "Sad. All love."
Justin later reportedly wrote in a separate comment, "I'm not one for anyone receiving hate. Hope u can all be kind to my friends and each other. And yes I love my belibers."
Selena then reportedly fired back with what seemed to be a major accusation about Justin's infidelity during their relationship. "Funny how the ones that cheated multiple times, are pointing the finger at the ones that were forgiving and supportive, no wonder fans are mad," the comment said. "Sad. All love."
To that, Bieber reportedly responded, "I cheated... Oh I forgot about you and Zayn?"
There have been rumors linking Selena to Zayn Malik, who is currently dating Gigi Hadid, in the past. Selena even joked that she wouldn't say no to a date with the former One Direction member. "If he had asked me out on a date, I would be seen with him. Just kidding, but not kidding," Selena previously told InStyle UK.
But it looks like Selena kept mum on Justin's comments, opting instead to post a collage of photos of herself with fans on Instagram amid the supposed drama. "My whole life. You matter most. Thank you for letting me do what I love every day," she wrote in the post, which isn't allowing comments.
Your move, Justin.
